    The Saint Sees It Through

The Saint has been called over to America to meet the US Customs chief John Hamilton.

There has been artwork stolen from the Kremlin and is heading over to the United States. Smuggled by boat from Germany.

Simon Templar needs to go to Hamburg. A person of interest is Lili Klausner (Margit Saad) a nightclub singer and an ex of Templar.

She has been linked with Dr Zellermann, a psychiatrist who has been manipulating her. He heads the smuggling ring.

It is a nice story, stolen art from the Kremlin. Dodgy psychiatrist, shifty henchmen.

Although it is unfathomable why rotund Carl Eberhard thought he could ever leave Zellermann's grasp.

Also Templar's disguise should had been easily seen through by the baddies.

    Ponderous

I have loved watching the saint since I was a Child and I am now re watching the series but this episode left me cold I could not remember this episode and maybe with good reason as I found it so slow and a poor story line. Luckily I think this an exception to the rule when it comes to the series.

I also thought the acting was poor in this episode. I know the acting throughout the series is not Oscar standard but this is a low in the series.

Do not let this review put people off the saint, if you have not seen any of the shows and you get the chance then give them a watch on the whole they are very entertaining.
