Bad Apples
Henry wants to teach Matthew about the importance of continuing with his education.
Matthew seems to be more interested in taking advice from the dustman who has three A Levels, he is also more interested in music.
Henry takes Matthew down to his old school where it turns out that Henry was a bit of a bad boy in his days.
Again there was another moment in this episode that showed it was not suitable for all the family. Mrs Thompson found Matthew's sex manual under his bed.
Alfred Burke plays Thrasher Harris, Henry's old teacher. You know there is going to be a switcheroo when a school report is read out.

Back to school.
Mrs Thompson's delicate sensibilities are challenged, when the finds material of an adult nature under his bed. Henry is fed up of Matthew's relaxed lifestyle, and decides it's time to get him into an old school, one run by Thrasher Harris.
I did enjoy it, several laughs and a pretty good storyline. Amusing how prudish Mrs Thompson is, very delicate, definitely a product of her generation. Not totally a comedy about class, but it is feature, more a comedy of the generations.
Best scene, Matthew enjoying Thrasher detailing his father's antics at school. They really are like father, like son.
Alfred Burke is another actor I'd consider very much as a serious, straight up actor, he showed very good comedy timing.
It makes me chuckle how Henry has a drink in almost every other scene, but everyone should have a drinks unit.
7/10.
