    Tried but Couldn't

It's a Tic Tac world! I just couldn't get into this one. First of all, the guy who is sick has connection with a dominatrix. She strangles him--to a point and dominate his life. He is very strange. The whole thing is so bizarre that it never concerned me.

The secondary plot (or maybe the primary) is the big date with Cameron. House wants to know why she is interested in him, considering all his negative attributes. They talk Freud and he puts forth his belief. We are left hanging but the date is very difficult to watch.

A third little plot involves two older people who are having sexual issues. The only interesting thing about it is that Peter Graves plays one of them and House gives them Tic Tacs instead of Viagra.

John Cho and Peter Graves, of all people!

John Cho plays a masochistic soul suffering from a series of strokes. House and crew suspect the choking he regularly gets from his very attractive if slightly creepy dominatrix companion may be causing his problems. The answer lies elsewhere, sort of. Cho is very convincing as a sad sack who can't live without being told what to do. Peter Graves does a clever turn as a man on Viagra who is conflicted about his renewed vigor. His role is more of a cameo than a real part, but his brief appearance ends with one heck of a punch line that even House could not see coming. Lots of other fun stuff happens in this episode. And of course Cameron is back big time. By now, House has convinced Cameron her adoration of him is misguided. What a show!

    Cameron and House?

Cameron and House? This must be the Bizarro World episode of House. In what reality would Cameron be interested in House? Cuddy maybe, but Cameron? Oh come on.

    • Trivia
Just before Cameron walks in, Chase finishes a joke that he's telling Foreman. "And he wipes himself with the rabbit." Eddie Murphy told this joke in a stand-up routine: A bear asks a rabbit if he has a problem with poop sticking to his fur. The rabbit says no. So, the bear wipes himself with the rabbit.
    • Goofs
Chase mentions that he gave Harvey antidepressants to help him change his mind about refusing surgery, saying "it'll lighten him up soon enough". Most antidepressants can take 6-8 weeks to begin working, not soon enough to help him change his mind about receiving surgery.
    • Quotes

Dr. Allison Cameron: I want to know how you feel... about me.

Dr. Gregory House: You live under the delusion that you can fix everything that isn't perfect. That's why you married a man who was dying of cancer. You don't love, you need. And now that your husband is dead, you're looking for your new charity case. That's why you're going out with me. I'm twice your age, I'm not great looking, I'm not charming, I'm not even nice. What I am is what you need... I'm damaged.
