    Art imitating life.....

I've often wondered how painful it must have been for Lucille Ball to film the episodes of "I Love Lucy" which centered -- like this one -- on her suspicions that Ricky is being unfaithful to her. In real life (as she was all too aware), Desi Arnaz cheated on her to a degree that left onlookers gasping in amazement. One man who knew him in those years said, much later: "When it comes to sex, it takes a LOT to shock Hollywood; but even Hollywood had never seen the likes of Desi. The man literally couldn't eat at a restaurant without trying to nail the waitress, the hostess, and the cloakroom girl."

    Ehh

The only part I like is the end, yes, they do a fat joke but don't get discouraged. The joke is act Lucy's expense being shallow. But the concept I don't like. Yes, I'm aware of Lucy and Desi's real life marital problems, but I am separating them from their characters Lucy Ricardo is too paranoid Ricky mentions ONE girl and she gets jealous. Meanwhile, she mentions all her past flames one guy to another, can you blame Ricky for getting back at her? She had it coming, I'm sorry. And the dream wasn't funny to me, sorry.

    NOT Jerry Mathers...

One of the reviewers claimed that Jerry Mather's played Little Ricky during Lucy's dream sequence.

This is NOT true. Mather's himself said it wasn't him in a Facebook post a year or so ago. The kid looks quite a bit like him, but it wasn't him.

    • Trivia
When Lucy lists her past boyfriends, they are all first names of the series' crew members and writers.
    • Goofs
In the first dream sequence, Little Ricky at first is wearing a hat with rabbit ears. At one point, Lucy picks him up to take him to Ricky, who is being lured away by Carlota; as she does, the hat falls off. The problem is that the episode's editors used a close-up insert of Little Ricky without the hat a bit too early--before Lucy picks him up--then returned to a wide shot where he's still wearing the hat. Once the hat falls off, the same (or similar) hatless close-up is used again, this time making sense with the continuity.
