    Leaving

Pamela has had enough of her sister Brenda and told her to leave home.

Brenda decides she could maybe hook up with friends in London rather than find a ne place to live.

In the meantime, Brenda meets Malcolm's posh mum. Brenda makes a few gaffes while trying to impress her.

At least Brenda and Malcolm have gone close. At one point his mum thinks that he has made Brenda pregnant.

It was gently amusing rather than funny. It did seem harsh that Pamela would throw her sister out. At least she seems to be having second thoughts.

The meeting we've all been waiting for.

Malcolm is pressured into bringing Brenda home for tea, keen to impress Malcolm's mum, Brenda makes an effort to put on an act.

It's funny once again, I am definitely enjoying this first series, it feels organic and seamless, the humour is varied, a good mix of wit and sarcasm. I loved the scene where Brenda visited for tea, you just knew it wasn't going to end well.

You keep waiting for Brenda's mask to slip, and when it finally does, it's of course a funny scene.

You can see the pair starting to get a little closer, dating as it were, you can't help but wonder what they have in common, as they just seem to be worlds apart.

    Another consistent early episode, 7/10.
