I loved the fight scene between Aang and Zuko.

The choreography and animation for the fight was amazing. We also get some more plot and character development.

My only problem with the episode is how easily katara decides to leave Aang. It didn't even seem like she thought it over.

    Underrated

I can live with Aang's dishonest behaviour in this episode because 1) all his kith and kin are dead leaving Sokka and Katara as the closest thing he has to a family and Bato is himself a reminder that they don't feel the same way about him 2) Aang is a kid 3) Aang spends most of the episode feeling remorse for what he's done wrong and 4) Aang has told his fair share of lies before like when he denied any knowledge of the Avatar and at least this lie wasn't mind bogglingly stupid like it was in The Great Divide

That said, it's still a lot better as a Sokka episode than it is as an Aang episode which actually explains Sokka's origin story, provides an explanation for his previous vices and showcases just why he's the leader.

I also like the comedy from Prince Zuko and Uncle Iroh (though mainly the latter.) And I like new character June.

I also like the Easter Eggs to the previous episodes and the fact that Zuko uses Katara's necklace from Imprisoned to track the Aang gang down. Is this episode as good as The Blue Spirit or The Storm? No. That said, it's still pretty good.

    • Goofs
Zuko and Iroh use June and her shirshu to help track down the avatar. The shirshu smells out Katara's necklace, making it go wherever Katara went. However, it brings them to the herbalist, when Katara never actually went there.

Prince Zuko: [shoving a barfly aside] Out of my way. Step aside, filth.

Uncle Iroh: He means no offense. I'm certain you bathe regularly.
