    The Canister

I would say the first three quarters kf this episode has some of the best comedic writing I've witnessed. However the final act feels somewhat rushed and has a deus ex machine aspect to its resolution.

It's structured fairly simply first act the apology second act hiding the "body" third act the resolution. And I think it times itself perfectly so that each of these acts doesn't overstay its welcome

The writing is practically perfect but I can't help feeling let down by the performances. I don't know what it is but feels like everyone is just reciting their lines, and I feel like most of the time I'm thinking they could've been delivered in a funnier way.

    Other than very solid episode.

    Best ever

Seriously this is the best episode of everybody loves Raymond, at least I think it is the best ever. The story line is so clever and well written. This one is definitely one of my and my families favorite. The canister is like another character in this imaginative episode.

The acting also is perfect. The actors really have studied the script and bring this excellent episode to life. I can see why the Ratings are so good for this show and especially this episode.

Too bad it is an Easter show because it doesn't seem like it is in the regular rotation of all the other episodes and I would like to see it more often.

    Laugh riot!

This was hands down the funniest and most well written episode I have seen. The characters are played perfectly!

Frank Barone: Hey! Is that Marie's canister?

      Debra Barone: No!

      [walks away]

Frank Barone: [follows Debra] Wait a minute! Let me see that! You DID have that canister!

      [smiling]

Frank Barone: She's been going on and on about that thing like it's King Tut's golden undies.

Debra Barone: Please... Frank... d-don't say anything. If she finds out I had this thing...

Frank Barone: [chuckling] You're in big trouble, lady.

Debra Barone: Listen, I-I'm begging you, Frank. What do I do?

Frank Barone: [smiling] Give your heart to God, 'cause your ass is Marie's.
