Compare to "Jurassic Bark", this one is a lot better. The jokes are a lot funnier than Jurassic Bark. Jurassic Bark is a too serious episode for my liking. This episode is funny, entertaining, and has a emotional moment. I don't hate the other. In my opinion, Jurassic Bark 2nd, The Luck Of The Fryrish 1st.
I am a giant fan of the series I started watching the episodes from first to the end once I saw the show when I did this was a episode that was never on TV and I didn't own the 3rd season DVD. But when I FINALLY saw this I thought it was the best episode of the show and I honestly cried at the end.
The End is a giant Surprise of what happens (I won't tell if you haven't seen) and the ending is just beyond the best ending of any series or TV show I've seen it will leave you wanting more and more of this show.
I also though that the cast of Futurama is at their best in this episode, Why? Because of how good they can be funny and yet at a lot of times be good at sad scenes.
Sound 10/10 Animation 8/10 Humor:10/10 Drama:10/10 Over all:10/10

If someone was to ask you to describe Futurama in one word, you'd most likely say 'amusing' or 'hilarious' but not 'sad'. The true reality is that due to Fry's life and the circumstances he ended up in future, he left behind his family which inevitably leads to times where he cannot forget about his past hence causes emotional scenes. This episode is one of them. As we look back at Fry's childhood and his relationship with his brother, we realize how upsetting it must have been for Fry. The way this episode was produced was fantastic and I never thought it would but Futurama nearly brought a tear to my eye. The best Futurama episode for me, definitely worth a watch along with some tissues

There are some Futurama episodes which are not so good, but this one is really outstandingly well done. Much was said in other comments, I cannot really add new things.
One can see quite some references to the 80's, apparently Mr. Groening or Mr. Cohen tried to place good memories there. Have to say I am also a child of the 80's.
The appearance of the song "Don't You (Forget About Me)" by Simple Minds is really well placed, too. (I hope the sole mentioning of it is not a spoiler, since it's mentioned already on its IMDb page. Didn't say where it is played though!)

May be number 1 but its hard to say when there are so many episodes, funnier, and an overall better story than Jurassic Bark. For me stuff like Game Of Tones, Leela's Home World, Jurassic Bark, and Lethal Inspection are more emotional, but its unbelievable how funny yet sad this episode is, 10/10 easy.
