    Budding Romance

Skinner and Krabapple start their romance and soon the speculation is rampant from sitting next to each other to the full nine yards. Bart gets confronted when he threatens them and he gets a big payoff (not financial, however). There are scenes where the townspeople are shown to be the idiots they truly are. Bart turns out to be a man of honor which gets him in big trouble with his classmates.

The First of Many Principal Skinner and Edna Krabappel Episodes,

Grade School Confidential is a great Simpsons episode with a very well written storyline and loads of very funny scenes. This episode is the first to revolve around the relationship of Principal Skinner and Edna Krabappel,I always enjoy these episodes but this one is certainly one of the best. There are several hilarious lines from both Skinner and Krabappel, but it was mostly following Bart in this strange situation that I found the funniest. Not the finest but it is another great episode from the eight season,Grade School Confidential is a very enjoyable Simpsons episode.

The entire town of Springfield goes against Principal Skinner and Edna Krabappel after several student witness them having relations on school grounds.

    Influential!

Bart's role in this episode really reminds me of Philip J. Fry in the Futurama episode Why Must I Be a Crustacean in Love, or Tina Belcher in the Bob's Burgers episode Sleeping with the Frenemy. It's nice seeing how influential this episode was on other shows.

    I'm a public servant...

Bart discovers Skinner and Krabapple in a compromising position.

This is a great episode with good character moments.

Skinner, Krabapple, Bart, and Martin Prince are used to very good effect in this funny and slightly compelling tale of illicit love.

I find the humour to be very consistent, with lots of great lines and sight gags. My favourite moments all involve the supporting characters like Chief Wiggam, Homer, and a number of the children describing something they saw in school to their parents.

I love the sound of popping and flowing liquid in the final few moments. Very clever, audio humour.

Originally, Lisa was going to directly participate in the gossip, but the writers realized she wouldn't have misunderstood what was actually happening, so they had her say she was in the library and heard the story from Janey.

As the kids start vomiting, Mr. Prince says, "I TOLD you we should have served cake instead of oysters. Yet, when Bart runs into Edna for the first time, there are clearly cupcakes on the table by him.

Principal Skinner: We're not coming down until you acknowledge and celebrate our love!

Maude Flanders: Excuse me, Edna. I don't think we're talking about love here. We are talking about S-E-X in front of the C-H-I-L-D-R-E-N!

Krusty the Clown: Sex Cauldron? I thought they closed that place down!
