    Just incredibly boring

It's been years since I am so bored watching a TV show. If you are watching the last two episodes hoping the (massive) plot holes will be explained. Well ... Jokes on you.

Nothing gets explained. I mean really nothing. Instead you'll get a ton static shots with characters talking in the background (I wonder if they runned out of funding). They add more questions than answers for a TV show that seems to lazy to come up with a clear narrative and a logical story line.

Considering how action packed the TV show is it's a huge change of pace and Its just boring. I would not recommend people watching these last episodes. Just skip them.

    Wow

Best episode! Very thought provoking and deep. Why it's so low rated in comparison to others I will never understand.

    • Trivia
This episode and the last episode of the series' budgets were low and couldn't make them with their normal animation style. They had to use time-saving animation and cheap tricks with a diferent story throughout the episodes' duration. When the series was finished, Hideaki Anno returned to start the production on The End of Evangelion (1997) which was meant to be the last two episodes, but turns out to be the real or alternatively ending as a feature film.
