This is how crossovers should be done. Building on and continuing both stories, mostly SG1 in this case but a Wraith ship was destroyed, which certainly helped Atlantis in the long run. The more we learn about the Ancients the less I like or respect them. Ascension does not equal Wisdom...the fact that the Ori are now aware of the Milky Way and are determined to have more followers aka more power should be more than enough for the Ancients to review their ridiculous non interference policy, especially in these circumstances. I wished we had more of SG1 exploring Atlantis but they had a specific mission. Well done to all involved in this epic crossover!
I've been extremely skeptical about Ben Browder in the lead of this iconic show of science fiction -- even my long time favorites as Michael Shanks (Daniel Jackson), Amanda Tapping (Colonel Carter), and Teal'c (Christopher Judge), and most of his appearances have been forced, trying to fill Richard Dean Anderson's (General Jack O'Neill, two L's) formidable shoes, which is entirely forgivable. But this episode is in a league of its own and Browder (Colonel Mitchell) manages to integrate himself (at least in my eyes) into the universe of the Stargate.
The Pegasus Project has rejuvenated the series for me and hints at much more to come. I was especially pleased with everybody's performance and the reclamation of Stargate in my eyes as the top of its class in writing, imagination, and concept. My hat's off to everyone responsible for this, thank you!

The SG-1 suspects that Merlin's weapon might be in Atlantis and Daniel and Vala head to the base. They are welcomed by Dr. Elizabeth Weir that shows the library to them and explains that they should question a hologram. But soon Daniel notes that the hologram is indeed Morgan le Fay. Meanwhile Sam and Mitchell are on board of the Odyssey with the scientist Dr. Rodney McKay expecting to change the route from the superstargate using nuclear warheads to send any new Ori warship to a distant place.
"The Pegasus Project" is another good episode of "Stargate SG-1" with two storylines. They are entertaining but with nothing new. My vote is eight.

Love the addition of Atlantis.
The McKay Character is a distraction.
Most Military would take him to a obscure location and blanket party him. He is not a comic relief.
You could have done without him.
Still a great show.

Cool to see a full on SG1 and Atlantis crossover and with a well developed storyline. The concept was interesting and the effects and CGI looked good.

- TriviaIn the opening scene, when Vala (Claudia Black) says Dr. Jackson (Michael Shanks) "doesn't look excited," Col. Mitchell (Ben Browder) replies, "Trust me, like a kid who was up all night on Christmas Eve." Vala then replies, "I thought we imposed a moratorium on cultural references I wouldn't understand." This is a reference to Black and Browder's previous show, Farscape (1999), in which Black's character was also an alien and Browder's character was from Earth. On that show, he would constantly inundate her and the rest of the crew with Earth cultural references none of them could possibly understand.
- GoofsWhen Col. Carter is briefing the Atlantis team members regarding the Ori threat in the Milky Way, she says the threat was "here", which is impossible, as the Ori were unaware the Pegasus Galaxy was inhabited, so therefore had no interest in the Pegasus Galaxy.
- Quotes
Lt. Colonel Cameron Mitchell: Well, it's like my grandma used to say, if at first you don't succeed...
Lt. Col. Samantha Carter: Try a larger thermonuclear reaction?
Lt. Colonel Cameron Mitchell: Her words exactly.
