Radio Daze

Spin City

1 review
7/10

The Mayor takes on a local radio personality.

This episode begins with the Mayor having a book signing for his new book that has hit the streets. The sad thing is that hardly anyone showed up at the book signing and now a local radio personality, Drew West, is making fun of the Mayor on his show. With all the airwaves being filled with talk about the Mayor, Mike books the Mayor on the Drew West show so that he can respond.

During the show, the Mayor actually gets some good lines in on Drew and now the radio personality challenges the Mayor to a phone in campaign. By the end of the contest it looks like the Mayor might lose but Mike has one more thing up his sleeve.

The only other story of interest was that the women in the office are taken by the man delivering water. But that story just did not have that much appeal.

This episode did have some funny lines. Like when the Mayor got on the radio and began talking about his ex-wife, that was a real laugh out loud moment. Even though the show was enjoyable enough, the whole idea of a contest really just did not make sense. But at times a comedy sitcom can break the rules of logic, and in this episode we get a large spoonful.
