    Curious but not bad

I really don't know what to think of this story, very strange indeed, not my stuff, but quite interesting. Strange, weird, but in this series, I have learned that you may expect anything, any kind of tale, scheme, everything is permitted. So, you have to expect the worst and the best too. The beginning, the opening of this story can not let you guess what will follow, and that's a rather good thing. But I understand that many folks will be puzzled by this weird tale. An illusionist meets aliens...I think this episode deserves to be seen, so you'll have an idea of what this series is about. That's up to you.

A really dumb and ridiculous episode in the best way possible

This is definitely one of the so bad its kinda good episodes. This episode is hilarious and doesnt hold any scare value in the slightest. Its a good episode if you want something painstaking corny and something to laugh at.

    Pretty stupid.

It amazes me this show is the offshoot of the Creepshow movie. How did a movie that secure in it's tone end up with a show like this? It's silly, yes, but it also barely makes sense. This is an episodes that proves that in spades.

    A light hearted wonderful episode.

This is one of my favorite episodes! It has to do with a comedian impressionist that is called in by the FBI to try to imitate an alien that they have found and react with it to tell them that they are friends. The alien actually looks good especially for a low budget 80's TV show. The special effects on the space ship also looked good and this whole thing just seemed really professional. The ending is surprisingly nice and the main character is quite likable. I thought the writing was excellent and the direction was good too. I highly recommend you find it.

My rating: Perfect episode. 23 mins. TV G

    The Alien Friendship

Spiffy Remo is a perfectionist nightclub impressionist enjoyed by his loyal audience. One night, the government Pudgy takes Remo to a secret base and D. Coe shows him an alien locked in a room. He explains that they need him to make contact with the alien, who has the knowledge of the nuclear fusion, to learn his secrets. Remo refuses but is blackmailed by Pudgy and gets close to the alien.

"The Impressionist" is a weird episode of "Tales from the Daarkside". There are a few good moments, but the plot in general is silly. My vote is six.
