    That's our Chrissy.

Chrissy sets out to meet the man who has been leaving messages on her desk at work. He turns out to be Gilbert Larwin (Barry Gordon, "A Thousand Clowns"), a nebbish of a newspaper vendor. Jack & Janet decide maybe they ought to cut the date short, especially when it seems as if Gilbert is already well on the way to being in love with her.

Overall, a decent episode with some good, hearty laughs - for one thing, Jack keeps screwing up Gilberts' name. The moments where Larry unsuccessfully tries to seduce Chrissy and where she attempts to "disillusion" her new admirer are quite good. Mostly, this is a nice showcase for Ms. Somers and guest star Gordon, and we're reminded once again of what a genuinely sweet person Chrissy can be.

There's an amusing tag where Chrissy plays a joke on Jack, and, at one point, Gordon does some bad singing, which is a nice irony since he had earlier had a hit song with "Nuttin' for Christmas".

Not top-tier 'Three's Company', but still quite funny at times.

    Seven out of 10.
