While the storyline is a bit thin this episode does at least allow the brilliant chemistry between Charlie Sheen and Jon Cryer to shine through.
Some good jokes and moments along the way.

Sitcom writers usually believe themselves to be knowledgeable about a range of subjects, while in reality they fail miserably when trying to show their "knowledge". Psychology and psychotherapy are a clear example of this. Whenever a sitcom tries to do a psychological theme, the miserable result is painful to watch. Case in point here. Add to this the absolutely horrible character of Rose and the equally horrible actress who plays her. Luckily, the parts that are not the quasi-psychological talk are pretty funny. Charlie and Allan's interactions are filled with good jokes which help you endure the other stuff.
