    The New Boss

So now this woman is going to be around for a decade. She is intractable and, of, she is from New York. I hope now they can ignore her and get back to issues. She is put forth as a mini-bones and an intimidator. The case is about a couple big shots who get themselves killed. They were doing things they should not have been doing. I did think that Spam made a pretty good human substitute. I can only imagine what the lab smelled like, especially if the stuff was scorched. I will be interested to see if there is as much chemistry or if she can be absorbed into the ethos. Oh. Zacharoni and Hodgepodge are sort of cute--I guess.

To the bones booth podcast, Hello Camille

I'm rewatching with the fab podcast "the bones booth" and loving it. Great intro to cam! I love the trust between booth and brennan, while she doesn't believe in visiting the gravesite of her mother she trusts booth that it's the right thing to do. They each always learn and grow because of the other. I hope the podcast makes it through all 12 seasons. I look forward to it!

    Hey Bones Booth pod!!!

This was a great premiere episode. I will miss Dr. Goodman but sooo excited to see Cam. I love how her character is tough but fair and is fiercely loyal right away. I enjoy some good mac n cheese but everyday is just too much Zackaroni. Booth's line "Oh like a jar. Why can't we just say a jar" so funny. The first appearance of the Royal Diner! I need to hear the story of why everyone in unison says no to Zack being a trial witness lol.

Boring story, but some interesting parts

I'm not a fan of Cam at all. I haven't liked her in the entire eleven seasons. I don't like that Booth has a "thing" for her in the beginning (but perhaps that because I'm already convinced Booth and Brennan are an item).

There's more revealed on Brennan's story involving her parents. I won't reveal anything, but it doesn't shed good light on her father. We'll continue to learn more as the season progresses.

The main story isn't that great - I've watched it twice and I guess it just doesn't hold my interest enough for me to totally understand it. But the show is worth the watch to meet Cam and get info on the parents.

Nice introduction episode of Dr. Camille Saroyan

I found this series interesting from the beginning of season one and have seen many of the season one episodes. Here in Tokyo, this series is shown as a late late show starting from 3:10AM on Wednesday night (Thursday morning) and most of the time I recorded it to watch on the weekend, whenever I remembered. All of the cast are very attractive and good, and most of the stories were good. Still, it did not give me the urge to remember to see all. The reason, I myself did not realize until seeing this season two starter, was that the relationships between the characters were just " push" and "pull" ( I don't know a good English expression). Sam Cullen played by John M. Jackson, I though, was the guy to bundle the team, but was not even a regular cast. As for Dr. Goodman, I didn't even notice that he was a boss. I was getting a little tired of seeing this "making of mannerism" series but gave it a try last night which was this season two starter. Dr. Camille Saroyan is a great character to "catch and release" the difficult and unique characters (sorry again, I don't know a good expression) and also seems to become a strong and reliable boss. Of course this is because of the very talented Ms. Tamara Taylor, whom I have seen for the very first time, and makes me wonder how deep the American TV industry is to bring in such a wonderful but unknown (sorry!) actor to this show. I am urged to see all the episodes from now on.

When arriving on the scene of the train wreck, Brennan puts her hair in a ponytail twice - once in the wide shot and once in the closeup.
    • Quotes

Dr. Camille Saroyan: Why hasn't she confronted me?

Special Agent Seeley Booth: About what?

Dr. Camille Saroyan: About me being parachuted in over her head. She finds me intimidating, right?

      [Booth chuckles]

Dr. Camille Saroyan: Hey, I intimidate people.

Special Agent Seeley Booth: Yeah. Bones doesn't intimidate.

      Dr. Camille Saroyan: Then what?

Special Agent Seeley Booth: You've seen the way she stares at human remains before she makes a decision?

      Dr. Camille Saroyan: Yes.

Special Agent Seeley Booth: You're human remains and... she hasn't made a decision yet.
