Better than the finale
DEXTER- Micheal C Hall is awesome!
truly intense TV
It's mostly based around 'when will it happen', as one knows Rudy will reveal himself finally to Debra, a real horrorshow waiting to happen. But it's the anticipation, and Dexter's own quest for the truth, that makes it so suspenseful and dramatic. It's actually one of the best episodes of the first season (not quite as edge-of-your-seat as the finale, but close, certainly in the last few minutes), and you get a sense of the impending tragedy that will befall at least some of the characters.
A Gripping Finale that Redefines Dexter
Can't Believe What Just Happened
Ep 11 "Truth Be Told" demonstrates precisely why this series became appointment viewing.
Hall navigates emotional territory with surgical precision - Dexter's intellectual detective work collides with deeply personal stakes. Keith Gordon's direction builds unbearable tension through seemingly mundane moments that suddenly explode with significance.
Greenberg and Schlattmann's script connects season-long threads with satisfying precision whilst opening devastating new questions. The Christmas setting provides darkly ironic backdrop to horrors unfolding.
This builds toward something massive and I am biting my nails. :0.

- GoofsRudy says working in a hospital gives him access to Valium. A prosthetist is not a doctor and would not have legal access to prescription drugs. ,,,although since he is a serial killer he would not be breaking his ethics to the steal drugs from patients or storage in the hospital where he works.
