Rogan Calls Fear Factor Contestants Idiots!

Joe Rogan's whole act is profanity laced with bile. He is a pot smoker who entered Fear Factor, thinking it was a joke. He said he would egg people on because he did not know how stupid people were going to be. The producers of the show he explained were going on the premise of playing pranks on unsuspecting contestants to see how far they will go. The level of evil involved is a little twisted. Mr. Rogan's special is just filled with the rants of someone who is too good for regular human beings. I found him to be offensive and his stuff can be heard by more talented comedians such as Eddie Murphy or Chris Rock. Rogan even does a five minute set on the N word. Overall, ignore this special.

    side split-tingly funny

This was hands down one of the funniest, most entertaining, and original stand up comedy movies I have ever seen. Joe Rogan truly surprised me with his wit, and interesting take on the world around him. Anyone who is overwhelmed by his vulgarity or lack of tact is obviously too old, or too politically correct to appreciate this onslaught of obscene hilarity. My favorite comedians are Lenny Bruce, George Carlin, Eddie Murphy, Steven Wright, Chris Rock, Dave Chapelle, Richard Pryor, Bill Cosby,Dane Cook, Jeff Foxworthy, Denis Leary, and now Joe Rogan. I think the world needs more of the politically incorrect, border challenging humor that this provides. Watch it,enjoy it, you'll be glad that you did.

    Warped

This person is a so-called entertainer who has to resort to profanity, vulgarity, and slander to try and make others believe he has talent. I have often seen comics use a little of each with effect but when all you can say is laced with it, it is a sign of a drug affected warped mind. Makes me wonder where his twisted and fried brain will be in a few more years of abuse. Poor man!!! I admit I could not watch all of it - too stupid for words. The amazing part of this is that somebody actually believes he is a philosopher!!! No wonder self respect and decency are dwindling and perversity is rising. Could it be that the UFC might have been a factor in his deadened brain?

    Just not funny

I laughed more at the user review that wrote that he was a phenomenal social commentator and even a philosopher than I did through the hour of Rogan's stand-up. And I love raunchy humour, I like Rogan's podcast, but I don't think he's cut out for stand-up comedy. Another reviewer compared him to Bill Hicks (!), which is mind-boggling. I know this is 13 years old, but it feels a lot older; it hasn't aged well at that. His material feels like it's maybe made for an audience who feel Dane Cook is too intellectual.

    Needs warm-up but worth waiting.

This earlier show of Joe Rogan is actually the first one I watched from him, didn't know him before that as I don't watch lame shows like Wresting or Fear Factor. In the beginning of this stand-up comedy, that is filmed very badly by the way, I wasn't too sure if I would like him or not. He's very verbal, borderline screaming, and his jokes were just okay. But I think he's another stand-up comedian that needs to warm up as the second part of his show was way much better. He's a stoner, like I am, and he clearly thinks about essential things in life when being high. I found out that he thinks a lot like me about some things, he brings it with jokes, sometimes very cleverly, what makes him seem like a guy I would share some weed with and have a good evening of debating and laughter with. I will definitely watch out for his other more recent shows in the hope they are not filmed so badly. He deserves an audience coming just for him instead of people having a drink and a chat whilst the show is on.
