I find it strange to think that no one has made a criticism before, but here we go.
After the sad farewell to Naughty dog, the crash saga was left in the hands of universal, and it sent Eurocom to create the following game: Crash Bash.
For starters, the game's graphics are pretty good, even better than Crash Bandicoot 1. However, the reason I give it a 7 is because of the gameplay.
Where I start, the game has good controls, yes, that is very positive, but what is not positive is its excessive difficulty. The game is torture, and he himself is aware of it. To fix it, the game uses quite peculiar mechanics. Every time you die, the difficulty decreases.
Contrary to what many might think, this game contains history. In truth, why lying to us is the least important thing. Simple enough, but it serves to introduce us to the game.
Finally we come to the best section of the game, the soundtrack. Many will not agree with me, and I understand it, because everyone has a personal opinion about everything. Yes, I understand that the soundracks do not seem to be taken from a crash video game, but that matters, anyway, crash bandicoot 4 (the original from 2001), it didn't use typical Crash songs, and despite that, they were songs.
In conclusion, Crash Bash is a great video game, quite fun and underrated, that is worth playing 22 years later.
Extra = I find it amazing that I made the first critique of crash bash on imdb.

CRASH BASH (2000) is a really fun cooperative version of the Crash games. Brought to you by Naughty Dog (Crash Bandicoot, Jak and Daxter, Last of Us) this game is unique in that it allows multiple friends to play it, making it great for parties and hangouts.
"Aku Aku and Uka Uka want to determine which one of them is better. Since they cannot fight each other they instead create a contest of minigames to decide whether good or evil is the strongest."
In short, Crash Bash is a great game. It adds variety to the Crash world and is a fun game to play with friends. Recommended for fans of Crash Bandicoot.

When 'Crash Bash' arrived in 2000, it wasn't about saving the world, it was about bragging rights, laughter, and the glorious chaos of local multiplayer. For me and my sisters, it was the ultimate party game, the one that turned living rooms into battlegrounds of bouncing polar bears, explosive crates, and hysterical victory dances.
Developed by Eurocom rather than Naughty Dog, 'Crash Bash' could easily have felt like a spinoff, yet it carried the series' DNA with surprising heart. Its variety of minigames, from frantic tank battles to pogo-pad arenas, kept every round unpredictable, while the Adventure mode cleverly wove them into a light, competitive quest that made co-op and rivalry equally thrilling.
Even today, I'd take 'Crash Bash' over 'Crash Team Rumble' (2023). The newer game may boast online polish and modern mechanics, but 'Bash' had soul: a timeless mix of fun, frustration, and family mayhem. It wasn't about graphics or innovation; it was about true connection. And that, more than any sequel or remake, is what makes a true classic.
