Tripper discovers from Hilda that her fiance is upset about their affair.

He is a violent wrestler and has been engaged to Hilda for four years. Only for Tripper to find out that this so called fiance is gay and thinks Hilda is mad.

Alf the store detective fails to detect that a regular early morning customer is a prolific shoplifter.

Tripper has a bingo game going at the supermarket. The winner gets to do a free shop. Only to discover that Tripper's relative who printed the bingo cards made a mistake. It could lead to multiple winners.

All that and a little boy in a cowboy outfit who has lost his mother in the store.

For its very low bar this is ok but in reality it is feeble. I do feel sorry for Leonard Rossiter who is desperately trying to make it work but the writing is not good enough.

    This wasn't too bad.

Tripper has problems, he is being strategically cornered by Catering Manager Hilda, and he's messed up the store Bingo.

I did rather enjoy this one, better than the first two episodes, still not great, but definitely better. Some of the scenarios at play here were quite funny, the little boy, and the bingo.

Jenny Tomasin, I would be critical of her acting when she would appear a few years later in Revelation of The Daleks, but here she was very funny, Minnie probably made this episode.

It's so sad to read that Rossiter passed away around the time of this episode's transmission, what a much missed talent.

    Better, 6/10.
