First episode was ok, now am bored.

So the first episode really draws you in with a lot of things happening but wow the show slows down oh so very fast. The writing is awful and smothers any potential the poor actors had of a worthy performance.
The character of Robert Langdon is especially terrible, they've just made him overly autistic with him just jumping to conclusion and being easily distracted. Poor Peter Solomon can barely even get a sentence out before Robert Langdon cuts him off repeatedly with his verbal communication issues. It's almost comical in a sad way.
This is the only time I have ever disliked a character portrayed by Eddie Izzard, it's not her fault it's just such an awfully written character. Even in the movie Get Duked (which I found to be quite terrible) Eddies character was at least entertaining and engaging throughout its entirety. This might be the first Eddie Izzard performance I will not fully watch.
(Note: as far as I can see I'm the only person who used female pronouns for Eddie, Yes the character she portrays might me male but you should respect her choice to be gender-fluid and also the pronouns she wishes to be referred by when you're not referring to the characters they've played).
