Worst show ever
Oh, good Lord! The original Pink Panther series, which started in the 60s, was and still is a classic cartoon. Those episodes actually made sense. They were funny, inventive, and the voice actors were skilled. The series had various iterations over the following decades. But then, in the 2020s, the Panther suffered the same fate as many others - it got a reboot. And this series was released. Or rather, I wouldn't call it a "series", but more of an abomination. A monstrosity. I can't even think of a suitable word for it. I hate this series. I hate it! The animation style is indeed faithful to the original, updated to HD. But everything else. The episodes are idiotic. Boring. Stupid. Meaningless! They make no sense! And worst of all, the voice acting. The big-nosed guy does nothing but SHOUT in this series! SHOUT!!!! AND SHOUT SOME MORE!!!!! It's really fun to watch a series where one of the characters SHOUTS ALL THE TIME!!!! I haven't actually watched this series myself, but my son has. I've had to see it out of the corner of my eye, and I wish I hadn't. Horrible series! I wish it had never happened.
Good for a modern reimagining!
Growing up with this show as a kid and now rewatching it after having a taste of the original DePatie-Freleng cartoons, I can say that this is a pretty nice modern reimagining!
They kept the characters very faithful to the original cast, the voice acting is pretty good and spot on to the original voices, the plots for each episode personally never annoyed or bothered me and the artstyle was fun!
I think my only complaint would be the consistency in animation. There would be occasions (especially in the Ant and the Aardvark shorts) where the animation would falter and become stiff. It did kind of ruin the immersion for me but other than like maybe two episodes (Those being Shutter Bugged and Happy Hunting.) I enjoyed the show. Shame that it only ever aired 26 episodes.
In summary? A good modern remake.

CN canceled this for fricken Scaredy Squirrel?
Personally, I find it criminal that CN not only took this show down in a year, but that it wasn't critically panned but was dropped due to low ratings. In reality though this show is better than what what you would think. Pink Panther and Pal is a modern take on both Pink Panther and The Ant and The Aardvark and so many more. Now it may sound like a show that has been done to death, but it has a lot of creative twists in it. The characters on this show have great personalities to them, and each bring their own humor. Pink is my favorite since he is so level minded. He can solve a problem but be calm about it. Big Nose is his rival, and even though he act like a stereotypical villain, he's still pretty cool. he can also be understood for Pink's antics and selfish since he's the big bad of the show. Ant is also level minded, he also solve problems and be calm about it. Aardvark is Ant's rival who want to eat him. He also wants to become something like Neo Cortex. Big Noes' Dog is his henchman who helps him foil Pink's fun. The horse is Pink's friend who appears as a guest star. Each character on this show brings a good amount of humor. The humor can range from slapstick, to gags, and to random humor that is done right. Whenever I see this show there will be plenty of laughs. The stories are good, and creative. While some of them are rehashed there are new elements added to the mix to keep the episode fresh. The artwork is really good in this show. The characters and monsters have good, if not inspired, designs, and the sets look creative. The animation though is stiff sometimes, and can be a little choppy. I really wish this show didn't have to end so soon. CN didn't give this show a proper chance at all, and didn't deserve to end so soon. If you haven't seen this show yet see if you can find DVDs of the series or if there are episodes on YouTube. Pink Panther and Pals will in my mind be remembered as a classic, and is a show well worth bringing back, and watching.
A Perfect Blend of Classic Charm and Fresh Fun!
Pink Panther and Pals is an absolute delight! This reboot brilliantly captures the playful spirit and iconic charm of the classic Pink Panther while introducing a fresh, youthful twist. The animation style is vibrant and perfectly suited to the show's witty, lighthearted humor. Each episode is packed with clever gags, memorable characters, and fun adventures that keep both longtime fans and new viewers entertained. Whether you're a fan of the original or discovering the Pink Panther for the first time, this series delivers consistently entertaining and clever storytelling. Highly recommended!
Good fun if not great
As a big fan of the original Pink Panther cartoons, I watched Pink Panther and Pals expecting little. The show doesn't hold a candle to the original, and is not brilliant, however it is much better than I anticipated. The animation is not amazing, but far from bad either. I loved the colours and the animation on the Pink Panther, however some of the backgrounds lack fluidity and Aardvark's character design takes some getting used to. The music is upbeat and jazzy, plus it has a nostalgic vibe to it. The stories at first were juvenile, but now they're wittier and more inspired, while the show's writing and situations are getting funnier all the time. Voice acting is mostly solid, though Ant's voice can grate sometimes. Overall, a fun show, but I can understand why due to the rocky start some mayn't like it. 7/10 Bethany Cox
