Growing up with this show as a kid and now rewatching it after having a taste of the original DePatie-Freleng cartoons, I can say that this is a pretty nice modern reimagining!
They kept the characters very faithful to the original cast, the voice acting is pretty good and spot on to the original voices, the plots for each episode personally never annoyed or bothered me and the artstyle was fun!
I think my only complaint would be the consistency in animation. There would be occasions (especially in the Ant and the Aardvark shorts) where the animation would falter and become stiff. It did kind of ruin the immersion for me but other than like maybe two episodes (Those being Shutter Bugged and Happy Hunting.) I enjoyed the show. Shame that it only ever aired 26 episodes.
In summary? A good modern remake.

Pink Panther and Pals is an absolute delight! This reboot brilliantly captures the playful spirit and iconic charm of the classic Pink Panther while introducing a fresh, youthful twist. The animation style is vibrant and perfectly suited to the show's witty, lighthearted humor. Each episode is packed with clever gags, memorable characters, and fun adventures that keep both longtime fans and new viewers entertained. Whether you're a fan of the original or discovering the Pink Panther for the first time, this series delivers consistently entertaining and clever storytelling. Highly recommended!
As a huge fan of the original pink panther show, i can definitly say that this show is pretty much more family friendly, but not less fun. The characters are nostalgic, the soundtrack still amazingly good (thanks Henry Mancini!!!!!!!!), Pink Panther stills that silly character (even if he got family friendly now), the jokes still have the 70's shows vibes, but now in high quality, the jokes still funny. The Big Nose is truly an unpleasent character, but not in a mean way. They were able to find the balance between a mean character and just a tired one (let's agree that having a neighbor like Pink Panther isn't pretty enjoyable... but, well, i was just writing this to get the minimun characters limit but everything i said is true.
As a big fan of the original Pink Panther cartoons, I watched Pink Panther and Pals expecting little. The show doesn't hold a candle to the original, and is not brilliant, however it is much better than I anticipated. The animation is not amazing, but far from bad either. I loved the colours and the animation on the Pink Panther, however some of the backgrounds lack fluidity and Aardvark's character design takes some getting used to. The music is upbeat and jazzy, plus it has a nostalgic vibe to it. The stories at first were juvenile, but now they're wittier and more inspired, while the show's writing and situations are getting funnier all the time. Voice acting is mostly solid, though Ant's voice can grate sometimes. Overall, a fun show, but I can understand why due to the rocky start some mayn't like it. 7/10 Bethany Cox
Cartoon Network broadcasts terribly bad shows like "Clarence" or "The Amazing World of Gumball". "Pink Panther & Pals" was cancelled just in its first year, and was exchanged by other series I don't know. But its not a good one. In the "Pink Panther" segments, Pinky has been made a teenager, he's fat and short. The Little Man has been renamed "Big Nose" and makes voice gestures, like groaning or shouting. The gags are not funny. "The Ant & the Aardvark", is still good, the plot is just the old one (Aardvark trying to eat Ant), but it has its bad things: Ant has been also made as teenager, his voice is not the one that impersonates Dean Martin and his head is different. With Aardvark is everything good. The gags made me laugh. In my opinion, "Pink Panther & Pals" has not the best gags, but some things are good, not perfect, but good. Also a bad thing that "The Inspector" characters (at least the Inspector) weren't included.
