Action in a fast pace

The whole episode contained more plot twist than the two seasons of Westworld. Also the end of the episode shows a little more of how sometimes Ricks wants so badly things to be the ways he wants that's is willing to interfere in others people choice without them knowing.

Incredible Work Yet Again

I had some doubts after the first two episodes (not that they were bad, but just that they weren't as great as expected).

But finally, we got a classic Rick and Morty episode that was equal parts funny and unique.

Looking forward to the rest of the season for sure.

Why?

This episode was great. Why are some people unhappy with this episode? If this episode existed in seasons one and two, it would have earned at least an average rating of 9. I don't know why you're not optimistic about this season. This season has been satisfying so far and I hope it gets better in the future.

This is not good, this season so far is not funny

I'm a big Rick & Morty fan. I mean really big. I've watched all the seasons several times. My favorite was season 3, I thought it was so original, brilliant and funny. In this season it feels like its a bit hard to follow the story because so much is going on, and at the same time its just not funny. Its just not funny. I dont know what happened, and I dont have any pleasure writing this. R&M was my favorite show, its feels like the writers have changed or something, because there is non of the funny-brilliant-original stuff that previous seasons have had.

Please do not push too hard!

I think the authors are pushing too hard in this season, which does not have a perfect outcome. The ideas are still great, but the implementation, hmmm no! The authors trying too hard to include everything in each episode, character developments, parallel story-lines, new characters and so many other things which all can not be included in just one 20-minute episode; they just should go with the flow!

Too complexity

Emmm as a Chinese, this episode was too complexity even if we have Chinese captions below the screen. The faster talking speed along with the difficult plot, which made me dazed and hard to read the word meanwhile watched the image. Also, it made me so tired after watched it.

ps: please forgive me about my grammar mistakes, I have try my best yet.

Trying too hard

It seems the creators of Rick and Morty have forgotten that being subtle is what makes this show so hilarious and smart. I knew from the beginning that this episode would feel like another episode from season 3, with obnoxious, clunky dialogue with bad references too overly complicated plot twists and turns ripped straight from The Matrix sequels. It's boring and painfully unfunny. This feels so far from the amazing episodes we got in the first two seasons and I hope they decide to write some good old fashion Rick and Morty adventures for the future.

Unexpected, yet, creative

As someone who regularly tends to enjoy episodes like "Tales from the citadel" which have a more serious / story driven tone ; I thought this episode was executed incredibly well. I think the versatility and creativity of the shows writers and actors really shined through without being forced, and the appearance of Elon "Tusk" was tasteful and applicable. Overall, I think this episode was well made for what it was; a parody of heist movies with great character design. I obviously have my own bias because i'm a big fan of the show, but for a filler episode it was original and satisfying ! I'm really happy to see the show not sticking to the status quo and constantly trying new things. I think most of the fans of the show will enjoy the ludicrous concept of the episode and the humor.

A convoluted mess... but that's the point.

Originally didn't like this episode because of how all over the place it was but after a couple rewatches, I appreciate that's kind of the point. The whole episode is a satire on how awful and convoluting most modern heist thrillers are and it does that pretty damn well. It's not my favourite episode but it's certainly not a bad one. A strong 7 to a light 8.

Top form

This episode had me either smiling or laughing the whole way through. I do like heist movies but this deconstruction of the genre and formulas was hilarious. Rick's zingers were hilarious ("Your boos mean nothing. I've seen what you like," "Every breath I take without your permission increases my self-esteem,"). So glad the show's back, just wish there wasn't a hiatus after 2 more weeks.

Sadly, but I would say it was the worst episode of Rick and Morty. Too crowded, boring, lame content/plot.

I'm in!

Amazing episode. Feels a lot like the Law & Order episode of Community, Dan Harmon and the team had an idea for a genre shift episode that they could easily lampoon the conventions of to make an incredibly funny episode. May very well be in my top 5 episodes

Where things get stale...

Rick & Morty has always had a penchant for deconstructing classic sitcom tropes and movie cliches, as is a staple of Dan Harmon's work. However, everything about this particular "deconstruction"/parody of the heist genre just feels completely tired and seldom funny.

The Simpsons did it 10 years ago with "The Book Job", an episode that wasn't perfect but at least was fairly funny and interesting. The numerous twists and attempts at subverting tropes here are just so confusing and convoluted and just bad. And that's not even to mention the fact that pig Elon Musk appears. Mr. Poopy B-hole deserved a better episode to return to.

Though generally I still feel the show is more hit than miss, this is one of the first examples of the show punching below its weight and was a warning of mediocre episodes to come, such as the Voltron episode and the Thanksgiving episodes in season 5.

So far season 4 isnt what we were expecting

Im really disappointed of this season, fast, chaotic and lousy storytelling and the jokes that arent really funny and everything is happening its absolutely makes no sense and complete nonsense. In the previous seasons there was a line between silliness, jokes, parodies, dialougs and even drama and seriousness of the show, but in this season so far all of it is mixed out together and nobody knows whose who. I think the show runners actually trying to hard to prove us something that We already know, that this show its great but everything is happening so far its insulting directly to the audience. I know the show has a fantasy and sci-fi world but before there was a logic and some core and balance to all of it but in this season we really dont see any logic to any incident thats happening. Characters doing beyond stupid things for no reason just to get the story rolling and then some .... I really hope that show gets better in the future episodes but what we have seen for now isnt promising ...
