This film is total crap. I walked out after watching half an hour. I thought I was going to watch something like AvP. But this is nothing. The hunter looks like the black power ranger with a weird hat wielding a giant gun and the alien looks like a giant spider with claws. The characters are so stupid too.A giant spider alien is chasing them and they sit around and have a town meeting about what to do. Then they go into the pipes somehow and the pipes are so big that they could stand up and walk around freely. I could go on all day about how bad this is but there will be no point. Take my advice and don't ever think about this again.
But Alien vs Hunter was so awful, I became incredibly tempted. I do have a general dislike for The Asylum's films, but this is a serious contender for their worst movie, and it is for me the worst movie I have seen in a long time. The production values are atrocious, in recent memory this is only one of about three or so movies that look as though absolutely no effort has gone into making it, complete with shoddy photography, cheap effects and dull lighting. The story is highly derivative, the script is cheesy and clichéd, the direction is abysmal and the characters could have been made of stone and I still wouldn't have cared in all honesty. The acting is some of the worst I've seen as well, none of the actors look comfortable and none connect to their cardboard characters, while the fight sequences are poorly choreographed and confusingly edited. Overall, appalling and one of the worst films I've seen. 0/10 Bethany Cox
I registered on IMDb specifically to write this review. I cannot just say that this movie is horrible, because it would be a huge and undeserved compliment to it. The real story is that this pile of garbage was masqueraded as a movie, while is not a movie at all. All aspects of this production are so unprofessional, so there is nothing at all to appreciate. I think that if anybody related to this project had been in a movie theatre, they would never have tainted their names with this rubbish. I watched it to the end just because of my admiration of them for making everything so sloppy and amateurish at a level I never thought possible. They would be a better off making a comedy out of it. I think everybody involved in creating this "masterpiece" should be banned for life from getting closer than 100 meters to any video recording equipment.
I give it one star, because unfortunately IMDb does not have 0-star rating, which what this "movie" really deserves. With all my heart, I give my vote to this production for the "worst movie ever" category.

Wow! This movie was incompetent in every way, and managed to be worse than the terrible Alien vs. Predator.
The back cover of this movie claims to have special effects from the people who did Fantastic Four. They are awful special effects. The only special effects are the alien's spider legs which are sometimes shown, or the camera focuses on the costume character top half of the alien. The hunter looks like a robot with a Chinese hat, and seems to be a cheap looking clone of the predator. The acting is really bad, and the characters are all stereotypes of typical characters, like the aging hero, the woman who secretly likes him, the military gun freak and many more. Any scene that's supposed to be dramatic has a blue colored lens to make it seem scary (I guess), or a reddish colored lens, and it looks stupid. This is a terrible rip-off of a bad movie.
My rating: BOMB/****. 90 mins. Not rated, contains violence and language.

1) Steal the storyline of an upcoming American film. Something big-blockbuster. Make sure you change the title just enough to avoid those pesky copyright infringement lawsuits.
2) Get an actor who is washed up so you can put his name on the DVD cover. Keep William Katt and Bruce Boxleitner on speed dial.
3) Use special effects of YouTube quality. Lots of hungry waifs wanting to show off their stuff.
4) Film you movie in some small town and reuse the same sets over and over again.
5) Pad the movie with pointless action scenes.
6) Have a good time.
Okay, this wasn't a bad film for the Asylum, but it's pretty crappy overall. Of course, since the Alien v. Predator movies sucked pretty bad, it wasn't like they were painting a beard on the Mona Lisa.
