    Favorite chapter of Book 3

I watched this series at the exact target age when I was a kid, and after over a decade of not seeing this show this was one of the few episodes I completely remembered the visuals of. I think this is the sleeper for best episode. A lot of good stuff in this episode

    Great world-building with stunning visuals!

Book 3 just has so many iconic episodes, and this is yet another secluded masterpiece as Aang qnd Zuko search for the origin of firebending!

This episode has so much to love! From the Lore and world building, the interactions between Aang and Zuko, to the impressive animation and visuals! This episode offers some of the best animated and coloured scenes, outside of the final battle!

Learning about the origin of firebending, qdds so much to the show and this world! All the elements are about life, buh some use it for death and destruction.. to gain power over others!

The inclusion about Iroh.. an emotional cherry on top!

The best animation in all of A:TLA

This episode is good. But what makes it great is the animation. It has a very distinct flow and the mix of colours is transcendent. While it isn't the best in terms of story, it's up there with the world building done and small character moments. It's a nice mix between the character moments of The Beach and action from book 2.

    • Trivia
The Sun Warriors chant is the same tune as the one that plays during the credits of the show.
    • Goofs
When Aang and Zuko approach the Firebending Masters' caves and are asked to present their fire, a distant camera shot of the pair shows that they're facing away from each other, and are bending forward to present their fire. The next close-up shot of them shows them facing each other, and that they haven't actually bent over yet.

Aang: You know, Zuko. I don't care what everyone else says about you. You're pretty smart.
