The storyline wasn't impressive because it showed only one side of the story ,
if they showed Brig. Pratap's POV then it would have been even better .
It just showed how much vulnerable and terrorized Muslims are in Jammu and Kashmir but they also should have shown the inhumane acts that our army goes through.
Acting- 9 (because of Kay Kay Menon) Script -5 Production -8 The ending of the movie is not very satisfying and I request the makers to give a sequel of the movie and show us the trauma that brig. Pratap had gone through and what made him the way he is today.
The director also just tried to show one community vulnerable.

Okay here's a thing - army doesn't operate like that. Yes I admit that there have been some human rights violations in J&k. But i still think that it was a complete propaganda to defame our Army. They clearly have played the victim card here. In the movie there's a scene - When the lead actor and actress go to Rathore's house and meet his wife, his wife says few things which in the movie are shown as every army officer who is loyal, dedicated and tries up to his limits to save our country consists those qualities. And just not about propaganda the cast doesn't look great except KK Menon, the lead actress is too annoying and does cringy things. Rahul Bose's character doesn't fit the characteristics which are required in an "Army Officer" and he is shown in the movie an officer of a major rank. In the I just want to say that if you're related to Army Or have some sympathy for our army, this movie tries everything to turn that respect or sympathy into hatred.
I watched this movie in 2021
It's a good movie and based on true events.
Superb Acting By Deepak Dobriyal Rahul Bose KK Sir Javed Sir Pankaj Tripathi(Guest Appearance)

Except the stellar performer Kay Kay Menon everyone else is wrongly casted.
What an awful performance by the lead cast
And Kay Kay , take a bow..watched this movie till last only for his roaring performance !
And need to ask the director one thing.. how dare you make such an awful ripped-off version of a legendary movie "A Few Good Men" ?
Bollywood has an uncanny ability to Indianize the remake. Given that a large majority of our cinema, the songs and perhaps even the dialogue is rehashed from dated Hollywood, Tollywood and whatever wood European, Chinese and Korean cinema comes from, its astounding how Indian each remake looks.
You would almost believe its supposed "inspired tag" Shaurya is different and watchable because for most parts, it retains the flow, feel and texture of A Few Good Men with the Indian confused state of existence in Kashmir as the backdrop.
Rahul Bose, plays Tom Cruise (who played Jerry McGuire in AFGM) in a controlled fashion and brings his own personality into the character of an Army Lawyer. Kay Kay Menon is convincing. The plot is reasonably tight but tends to bore you in bits.
*What's good Kashmir. Breathtaking! Good controlled acting and decent dialogues. A believable and realistic plot and some good court sequences.
*What's not The pangs of boredom you feel. The plot is flat and familiar. You've seen AFGM and you know how things will end.
Watching the movie with Army folk. They rant about breach of protocol or whatever that means to us 'bloody civilians'

- TriviaA section of the social media believes that the film was a propaganda meant to malign the Indian Army, shame Hindus for their supposed anti-Islamic bigotry and further the myth of 'saffron terror' through the antagonistic character of Brigadier Rudra Pratap Singh (played by Kay Kay Menon), but backfired as he went on to be celebrated for speaking what many believed was the bitter truth.
