    Criminally Underrated!

The low rating on this episode is an absolute shame and a travesty!

This is one of the, if not the, funniest episodes in the entire series! I was laughing so much I thought I was going delirious. Aang's descent into sleep deprived paranoia and madness and stress and anxiety is captured brilliantly.

Absolutely Comedic genius Is on display here.

We also see Sokka's beautiful feet.

    Poor episode

Honestly, the level of fanboy (and girl) blindness makes a mockery of the rating system. A 10 rating should be for episodes you would happily watch again and again and should be sprinkled sparingly throughout a season. For every episode to be given a 10, especially as one as weak as this, makes the whole thing pointless. At most this is an 'ok' episode. Save the 10s for the episodes that deserve it.

It's silly but I like it

When I review The Chase, I commented that it was a lot more mature than you would expect a Nickelodeon episode whose moral was the importance of sleep to be (you'd expect something like Beddy Bye from The Fairly OddParents). This is another episode with the same moral but I cannot say the same thing about this episode that I did about The Chase.

It's silly, corny and bizarre. I personally find it funny and as such enjoy the episode but if you're the kind of person who doesn't find a fun light-hearted episode with SpongeBob SquarePants levels of logic funny then you probably won't like this episode.

That said, this episode isn't filler. If you want to follow the show's storyline pay attention to the Zuko scenes. (In the interests of keeping this review spoiler free, that's all I'll say.)

    • Trivia
Aang uses the drawing of Firelord Ozai he received during his tenure at the Fire Nation school in The Headband (2007) as target practice.
    • Goofs
Team Avatar make Aang a bed of Koala sheep wool to sleep on. Initially it is shown as a two joined circles but in the closing scene it is just a single circle.
    • Quotes

[Aang is circling around a group of sleeping koala-sheep at night when Katara appoaches]

Katara: Aang, it's the middle of the night. You need to go back to sleep.

Aang: But I forgot my pants and my math test.
