    YEEEEEEEEESH!

I don't normally take to the episodes that dip into fantasy settings or the supernatural, but I love this one. Having a non-fantasy framing story really helps with that.

The mix of olde English accents with their modern Philly slang is great. All of the characters fill exactly the role they would fill had they been around during the American Revolution. It's all tied together with that trademark early-series Always Sunny charm and profanity.

Not sure why it's rated 7.8, I loved it.

    REALLY not that bad

It's not. It's not amazing, but definitely not just ok. Funny and smart, good episode. Nothing more to say, the gun scene was hilarious and Cricket was a fun cameo.

It's always a great time when your watching this show

If you've never seen this show give it a try. This is the episode I started watching it. I couldn't stop laughing. It's one of the funniest shows ever imo. Almost Seinfeld good. I'm so glad Danny Devito is on it. He's still a riot all these years later. I never heard of Charlie Day before I started watching this. Now Im a big fan. He's the main reason I watched Horrible Bosses 2. I'm also a big Philly fan and a huge fan of One Liberty Place - I wish they would do an episode in that building. Lol They closed the Observation Deck which is unfortunate. I loved that place. So to keep a long story short ( too late) if you like outlandish, profane, absurd and absolutely hilarious and smart comedy try out It's always Sunny. Especially this episode. It had me in stitches. Still does lol.

    Bad episode - incredible ending

As I watched the episode, I remarked to my viewing partner several times about how bad the episode was compared to most. A lot of money seemed to go into the period sets for not much payoff. But the ending...staying spoiler free it reminded me of the "Richer" episode of South Park - another program with a million dollar end scene.

I love the idiots that make this show.

    • Quotes

Charlie Kelly: [refering to a George Washington painting] Now, why would you hang a painting like this on your wall?

Mac: Well, it's the Historical Society, bro. They have to hang it up.

Charlie Kelly: What, we gotta suffer just 'cause some old dude who looks like Meryl Streep chopped down a cherry tree like ten million years ago? It's just- he looks terrible!

Mac: You know what? Let's take it down. It's just gonna distract us through the meeting.

Charlie Kelly: Yeah, let's get it down, man. It's not gonna- it's not gonna work.

Dennis Reynolds: Let's take it down. I'm gonna tear it down.

      [pulls painting]

Dennis Reynolds: Unbelievable. It's bolted to the wall.

Charlie Kelly: Well, that proves our point, man. We're not the first people to try to take that thing down.

Dennis Reynolds: Yeah, well, we're gonna be the first ones to actually succeed. Come on, let's tear it down, Charlie.

Charlie Kelly: Let's just rip it off the wall.

Dennis Reynolds: Rip it right off the wall...

Mac: Whoa, whoa, whoa, guys, guys, guys. I got a pocket knife. Just cut it out of the frame.
