    Michael Scott

"No, no! You're done here!" Best line ever in The Office or any other show or movie

    Wow

This is probably the best episode of the whole show.

Well, what I can say, Michael amazed me in such a way that I can't even describe. He just owned everyone in that room and shown why he is and has to be boss forever. Amazing episode and amazing performance 10 out of 10.

Best of the season, one of the best of the show

Seen a lot of people say the show should have ended when Michael left, but for my money it should have ended right here, especially considering how much of a drastic step down in quality season six was. The episode feels like an ideal finale. It does a really great job bookending the series, with the entire office now eager to have Michael as their boss and Michael proving how much he cares about all of his employees (turning down tens of thousands so that Pam and Ryan can have stable lives). Even the Dwight and Jim subplot has a real sense of conclusiveness to it- there are actual stakes for Jim's pranks here- and their banter does a great job capturing their dynamic as a whole. The final shot with Michael on Jim's desk is just perfect.

When Michael, Ryan, and Pam are left alone in the conference room to discuss the offer from David Wallace, David closes the conference room door, as he and Charles exit. The camera then switches to Dwight as he receives a phone call from a former client who now wishes to switch back to Dunder Mifflin because of the financial troubles with the Michael Scott paper company. Dwight gets up to rush and tell David and Charles about the financial problems before they finalize the deal. In the background you can see that the conference room is empty and the door is open, even though supposedly Michael, Ryan, and Pam are in there with the door closed to discuss the offer.
