I am currently a teacher and this melted my heart.
It's a simple yet inspiring story, the adversities the protagonist met just like what everyone has to deal with in real life. The disappointment and despair when hunting for a job ,the issues with family, everything is just like going through life. Except that with his disability,he learned to understand more and care more,of course also fight harder for his dreams, really moving and encouraging.
Very well done movie
I was looking for other movies that Dominic Scott Kay had done and stumbled on this one and I bought it and then I remembered seeing advertisement for its airing, but sadly never watched it.
This was the best movie I have ever seen and have never heard of Tourett's Syndrome. the acting was superb from everyone even to the little kids. Jimmy was great and really looks like an older Dominic. We loved Dominic in the Santa movies and on NCIS as the boy scout.
I will only support the Tourette cause, I hope the real Brad Cohen stays happy and is a true role model for anyone with disabilities.
I hope you will do a follow-up movie. I would like to see more from Jimmy and of course Dominic.

A film that can make a dead man back to life
I don't normally write reviews, I was not planning to write one for this. But after watching this a few days back, I couldn't help but write, this by far is one of the most inspirational movie you will see. I just loved the smiling face of our hero, whatever happens with him he has that smile and he has his companion. I would recommend everyone to watch this movie at least once, if possible more than once.
I am not going to dwell into the nitty gritty of acting or directing, because i found everything coming together in the movie. Best thing i felt was that it was all based on true story, it welled up my eyes and i was crying my hearts out all through out this movie

Great depiction of Tourette's
My whole family loved this movie. It was nice to see an inspiring movie with a great message.
Loved it.
How strong and persistent we are?
I liked this movie and recommend it cause it shows that no obstacle can stop us to achieve our dreams. For Cohen, the dream is to become a teacher, and for me, it could be any other dream. This story teaches me to persist and never give up. It's a beautiful motivation story and at every step that Cohen walks, in his trials and (a lot of) failures we can reflect and question ourselves: How strong and persistent we are in the pursuits of our goals?
