    Sharon Gless

This review is primarily about the character that Sharon Gless plays. It's totally pointless, it adds no depth or purpose to the series. All she does is whine, complain, moan, nag and it's really irritating! She is not supportive of her soon and only seems to care about her own self-interests & well-being. I know it's a script but having it repeated on every single episode it extremely grating and wears you down.

Every time there is a scene with her, I pause it, mute the volume and turn the subtitles on. Once her scene is over, I go back to normal viewing.

If you're a deaf person watching this, you do not know how lucky you are.

I've not googled or checked IMDb to see if her character is killed off but I can only hope it is!

    players aren't the issue

This whole series is based on giant load of horse crap from start to finish ... number one- spies never reveal their secrets like michael does throughout each episode ... second, if he were really burned, he'd be dead ... third. finding out who burned him won't change a thing ... he is basically a walking dead man ...renard in french means fox .. not even cleaver ... i agree with the other reviewer about sharon gless , the useless chain smoking mother

IMDb's People Need to Pay Attention....

This episode is just fine, as is the rest of the show. Didn't start out just *wonderfully*, but OK, and has since developed into a show that's definitely worth watching. No, my issue here is with IMDb. James Black's name in this show is NOT Jean-Pierre Dumont, It's Jean-Pierre DUMAN. Now, under normal circumstances, I could understand, as it does rather sound like it could very well be "Dumont." In *this* case, however, there is NO excuse, because the man's name is shown ON SCREEN *no less* than three times, possibly more. Now tell me: as they have built an entire (rather large) website, which is probably one of the (if not THE) most widely trafficked movie sites on the web, I would assume the folks at IMDb know how to read. *This* is why IMDb needs to make it just a *little* bit easier for users to modify stuff. If it was a little easier (and no, I don't mean Wikipedia easy, but still....), then this would be a non-issue. Some would say it still is. Granted, it's a minor thing. IMDb does a lot right, and I appreciate that, and use it ALL the time; if not for IMDb, I'd have gone crazy a long time ago ("CRAP! What else have I seen her in?"). However, accuracy is of paramount importance, I would think, and allowing users at least to review the pages, and maybe send correction suggestions in, would be a step in the right direction.

    Why not use Haitian actors?

OK- so I just finished watching this episode and I love Burn Notice bu the fact that it is filmed in Miami and there are sooo many aspiring Haitian actors like myself... why not use Haitian actors. At least the accent would be correct for heavens sake!!!! I love James Black as an actor but he is FELIX from starter wife... not a person of haitian descent. The worst thing is that unfortunately my grandfather was killed in a Haitian prison and my uncle was great friends with the Duvaliers who were "dictators" in the country. I truly believe that movies and TV shows need to sart looking at us Haitians in this country to play the roles of our people. I don't have a Haitian accent anymore but I know i could do a better more BELIEVABLE job than the people Hollywood keeps choosinG!!!

    Please Hollywood... start using Haitians!

This reminds me of Bad Boys 2 all over again!!!!

    • Trivia
While narrating, Michael explains how best to infiltrate someone from his team with the Haitians. He said people are more trusting of someone who speaks their native tongue. The native language in Haïti is Creole, yet Fiona spoke only French. French is a secondary language for Haitians.

    • Quotes

Michael Westen: [narration - concerning Claude's renewed plea for help] Working covert ops, you learn to exploit weakness. You manipulate greed, fear, pride, to make people do what you want. But when you're dealing with true believers, those weaknesses aren't there. All you can do is help, or get out of the way.
