Crazy!

Out of all the episodes of this I've seen, this has to be one of the craziest ones. It was resolved at the expense of one life, but how on earth this lady ignored all these red flags is beyond me. I hate that the daughter was involved in all this. Poor thing, she seems to have ended up with a lot of PTSD out of this whole ordeal. The woman kept saying that she was surprised the guy ended up being who he was, but there were so many red flags.

Props to being the best mother out there!

I don't think this lady understands that once you deliver that baby safely you are a parent for life. You are supposed to be the number one advocate for your kids and protect them. It's amazing that after raising these kids she is still chose a stranger over them all because she was so damn lonely. They clearly disliked him and had legit reasons but her response was to ignore her kids when it came to John. I read somewhere that her psychiatrist apparently recommended this when they both went for couples counselling but to me it just seems like she just wants to shift the blame to anyone but herself. These kids literally went above and beyond to make her see and she went right along and married the guy. She also had a number of failed marriages so her kids where more on guard as she seems to repeat the same mistakes over and over again. She seems to feel more like she is the victim and that while her daughter almost died well... it was mostly just John who brought this about. Lady if you had common sense in the beginning and used your brain that man would have never had the chance to almost off your kid.

Terra saved lives

Mom gets an F for being another passive compliant enabler, but she did finally find her spine.

But Terra is a superhero. She should ditch the guilt by reminding herself **how many other women's lives she saved**~including her mother's, as well as her own. I hope I can fight like that if the need arises.

We owe her a debt of gratitude. 🏆

Extremely condensed version of the story

The TV episode is only 40 minutes long so they were never going to be able to include everything. The older sister Jacquelyn doesn't get mentioned and she's just as important as Terra. I recommend the podcast and the TV series with Eric Bana to get the full story.
