Afterburn

The film was truly awful. The writing felt lazy and uninspired, with dialogue that never once rang true. The acting was equally painful to watch - flat, overdone in places, and completely lacking in chemistry. There wasn't a single moment that stood out as clever, moving, or even memorable; it was just another forgettable attempt at entertainment. The most baffling part is how they managed to convince Samuel L. Jackson to sign on. His presence raised my expectations, but even his talent couldn't rescue this mess. Instead, it left me wondering whether he owed someone a favor or just wanted an easy paycheck, because nothing in this movie was worthy of him.

What a letdown. The movie is buried under endless mumbling - characters speak so softly and indistinctly it's almost impossible to follow. When you finally catch the dialogue, there isn't much there anyway: the plot is thin and underdeveloped. Instead of building story, it relies on a few noisy car crashes and random shootouts to jolt you awake.

Louder sound effects don't make a better movie, and Afterburn proves it. Sparse, muddled, and frustrating - this is a mumble-filled mess that mistakes noise and wreckage for drama.

Im feeling the afterburn of regrets for seeing this movie. The entire theater outside of me and two women, left sometime before the hallway point. I'm honestly super jealous of them now. That was a hard movie to watch. I was feeling it at the beginning but that was short-lived lived. Do yourself a favor and skip this bull. I actually enjoy watching Dave Bautista, weirdly enough. I say weirdly, because the last few movies with him that I watched just absolutely sucked. The screen writing with the movies he is in, needs help. Do this actor some justice. Please!

People are literally forgetting that movies were created as a form of entertainment, for people to turn off and get transported to another world.

Unfortunately people are expecting everything to be a masterpiece nowadays and every movie has to either be The Godfather 1 or 2 - and if they aren't that let's just rate the movie a 1 out of 10...

The world has become so uptight and people do not know how to criticize a movie without being toxic, people do not know how to rate a movie based on what they liked vs. What they didn't like.. this is why movies either have a very low rating nowadays or such a high rating that you are literally wondering what drugs some people are on

A movie can be 5/10 or 7/10 and doesn't just have to be a 1 or 10

This movie is a goos 6-7 out of 10 because it's fun, action packed, and if you aren't too uptight and you still know how to have a good time you will love this.

Avoid wasting your time and money.

The movie is another cheap action movie containing some familiar names to lure you in - as they did to me- many left before the ending.

In a nutshell: 1- Story: 0/10 ( cliche at best ) 2- Acting: 3/10 3- Sound: 2/10 4- CGI: PS2/10 5- Comedy/Horror: They must've added this genre by mistake.

Bottom line: See above 🙃
