To those of you complaining about the inclusion of Jan 6
You guys REALLY have a complex about anything political at all. I thought that SNW went out of its way to NOT pass judgement on MAGA/Whatever you wanna call it. They talked about "competing versions of liberty"...meaning that both the sides in our current situation are out for liberty. SNW was NOT tying MAGA/Trump/whatever to being the doom of the world...it was tying the current situation and the difference in "versions of liberty" and conflict itself.
For professing to hate safe spaces and trigger warnings, you all certainly have a complex for looking for any sign of being picked on. The fact is, despite them proclaiming a hatred of grievance holding, the alt right has extroardinarily thin skin. And despite the 'woke' proclaiming that they are wanting to be protecting diversity, they are against diversity of thought.
I feel sorry for those on both sides who are right now so incredibly ingrained in the social battles in the US nowadays, that you cant enjoy ANYTHING that even closely looks at the 'other' side in a good light or criticizes 'your' side.
Grow the hell up
Per the actual episode, I had virtually no expectations for SNW after the busts of Disco and Picard...but I largely thought think SNW does a good job of going back to the original formula of "popping into different worlds" thing. Will the NuTrek producers screw this one up too? Probably. But absent a couple problems, SNW so far seems much better than the whole of the other two.
