Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii

The show explored the worlds of Parvati and Om Agarwal, living in a Marwadi joint family where Parvati is an ideal daughter-in-law of Agarwal family and Om the ideal son. The show is the story of the sons of Vishwanath Agarwal and their children thereof.

The show is based mostly on their life and struggles in a joint family. The story, spread over three generations, focuses majorly on Parvati and her struggles as the ideal wife and daughter-in-law, mother and grandmother and depicts how sometimes one must stand against her loved ones to do what is morally right.

In the Year 2004, after the first generational leap of 20 years the TRP of the show shoot as high as 18+ that was a feat achieved by none other show before except Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (which had a record of generating a TRPof 22+) In the same year during the rape hearing scene the TRPs of the show shoot the highest making it top show continuously for several weeks on the ratings charts. But now indian serials are totally disgusting without story.

Best Indian Television show till date The purpose of the show is not just to show any repetitive typical storyline and gain views, they actually take all social issues not only related to women but they consider all the aspects and spread awareness about it, for that reason this serial have very special place in my heart.

It really touches your heart when you related yourself with it. If you are a person who genuinely want to see good changes in society then only you will like this show. Another important point is there is no place for melodrama or any nonsence.

The cast is doing very well but huge kudos to the WRITING TEAM who puts so much efforts to make this masterpiece.

I don't know how they did it, but this serial stayed exciting week after week! I watched from day one to the last episode when Parvati passed the torch (diya) to the next generation (tujh sang preet lagai sajna?). From impossible things to social issues, Kahaani gave us all of it! And Sakshi was the best thing ever to this serial. I just loved her, in every avatar she had in this. Now we're 19 years further and I haven't come across any series this interesting... Balaji, please come back with content, actors and story lines this good.lt has good content backed with brilliant performances by characters of Krishna Aggarwal, Parvati Bhabhi, Shruthi and a few more.

Best serial ever watch on YouTube when it's uploaded i can't believe it's an Indian drama because for Indian drama i only listen negative reviews but this one is just amazing especially it's an ekta Kapoor serial. Now a days all Indian drama are totally utterly useless garbage.watching your dustbin is thousands time better than watching current Indian serial. But kahani Ghar Ghar ki is best serial ever more popular than Pakistani popular serial. Wish the serial come back with season 2 soon.
