Just...why?..

Such a shame...

Guys, seriously, ending the series with an empty plot, new characters (that are absolutely redundant), wasting precious time on unnecessary scenes... and most importantly, NOT GIVING proper backgorund about what happened after S03 and NOT EXPLORING the potential of the TWO MAIN CHARACTERS THAT GAVE THEIR BEST AND ARE THE CENTER OF THIS SHOW.. that makes me really sad. I guess Phoebe set some high standards.

Boring

This show was intriguing when it began, but it has been sputtering and running on fumes this last season. They should've wrapped this show up by the end of the second season, while they still had some sense of direction.

There are virtually no characters to sympathize with anymore. Most of them are bloodthirsty, psychopathic assassins, and while one such character is unique, when you fill the entire show with emotionless monsters, it just gets tedious. And the title character is increasingly bland, impassive, and rudderless.

Fortunately, there's only one episode left. But so they can send it off with a bang. But I'm not holding my breath.

Bad

I don't know how or why Laura neal got the writing job for killing eve, but I hope she one day pulls herself away from her ego and realises she ruined one of the worlds best tv shows and queer characters, by forcing them to exist within binaries (which they clearly do not, they burn them to the ground) and also with her just overall terrible writing. If I was her I would have turned it down, because lord knows why she thought she could take on this project. The fact that she says the ending of the show makes sense/ felt right, shows how insanely homophobic and delusional she is. No one wanted that ended.

Making Dead Things Look Nice

The show is nearing end but it is clear that it could never muster enough momentum.

Helene is dead and it leaves a question mark over the other members of the Twelve.

Villanelle is on a small island off the coast of Scotland and meets Gunn. The assassin hired to kill her. Both women have a lot in common.

Meanwhile Eve is at a loss. Her mission is accomplished and in a karaoke song, she sings badly and sees people from her past, including her husband Niko.

It just shows how much Eve has been pulled apart.

Maybe this was an episode where Eve and Villanelle could had been reunited and hunt down the baddies.

It was too meandering and reflects that there was never enough of a core plot.

This is reflected in Konstantin's fate. Hung around in Margate for too long.
