I wanted to give this more than 7 because it was pretty unique for a gender swap movie. It just kind of ended abruptly without answering some major questions. And for a two hour movie to be paced in a way that you could actually believe a womanizer is actually getting used to being a woman just to be cut short when it&#39;s getting interesting was a bit of a let down. I don&#39;t know how to categorize this movie either. I thought it was just a comedy or maybe a self discovery/ learn a lesson type movie. I wasn&#39;t expecting it to become a romance, but it kind of did. I think it was a bit ahead of its time when it comes to the idea that love is not defined by gender. But I just have too many unanswered questions to be able to give it a higher rating or want to watch it multiple times. Do I think Sam learned his lesson how women get treated by guys like he was? Yeah. Do I think Sam would have chosen to stay a woman? I did not expect that. I honestly thought they were going to go the other way with it entirely seeing that Margaret had a crush on Sam and that he was finally paying attention to her. I was not expecting the best friend romantic storyline, so that was pleasantly surprising actually. My other thought was that maybe there was a woman out there with Sam&#39;s body and they&#39;d switch back, but the DNA test shot down that idea. I just wish if they were going to take the storyline in the direction they did that there would have been more scenes of chemistry and confusion between the two bros. Also, what about Sam&#39;s job? What about his social security number and ID and all of that stuff? Are they just going to get married and have kids and stuff? We don&#39;t even get to see him accepting himself as a woman very long, nor do we get to see how things would go in the bedroom. What about Sam&#39;s parents or family or siblings? These are the kinds of things I would have liked to have been explained even just briefly. It does make you think though in the end about the original Sam and his friendship at the beginning with Doc as basically his only friend and how much he disliked Doc&#39;s girlfriend. Did he have feelings of jealousy in a romantic way then or was it just that he was unsatisfied with his life and jealous of those around him? If he had gone back to being a guy in the end what did he really have going for him? I think it was the right choice for Sam and maybe even for Doc too, it just needed to be fleshed out. Sam was actually making real friendships with women and being nicer to people in general. But then on the other hand Sam and Doc grew up together and were besties their whole lives just have this huge revelation and change that we don&#39;t get to see really unfold as the audience. I don&#39;t think it would have hurt to have tacked on another 30 minutes or a brief epilogue showing a flash to the future or something. Just keep an open mind when you&#39;re watching is all.

What a weird movie. The cinematography and editing are terrible. It is a lot of fun, though, and the leading lady and the best friend are very good actors, and you can tell the lady is having a lot of fun. Weird movie that goes in a weird direction.

Okay, y&#39;all, I was totally ready to love this move. I have a girl crush on Natalie Knepp and have basically loved her since I saw her in Alto. When I say that the first bulk of the movie was hilarious, it wasn&#39;t really that funny. It&#39;s just that&#39;s where most of the jokes reside. The last third is fairly lame. Not only does the story lose steam but the ending is, in my opinion, horrific. **** Final SPOILER Alert **** How could the now female, Sam, fall in love with his best friend. Not only does everyone in the viewing audience realize that Sam is still basically just an &quot;upgraded&quot; original Sam, but even Doc knows it&#39;s Sam. He says it to him specifically after one of their hugs. Again, this is going to affect people differently but the ending was beyond creepy to me. I probably shouldn&#39;t be sharing this but, I have five sisters ... When I was in high school, a lot of the creeps would ask each of us if we had seen each other nekkid and if we would do each other, etc. What? Noooo! Ewwwww. That may be your weird fetish but making out with my beautiful but, to me, gross sisters was the absolute last thing on my mind. For some weird reason, the ending of this movie reminded me of those days. Like it was somebody&#39;s weird, perverted fantasy.
