Shyam Singha Roy is wonderful movie. Story, screenplay was excellent.second half is excellent and it took movie to new level.nani performance in both charecters is wonderful, and he gave his career best performance as shyam Singha Roy. Other lead charecters like Sai pallavi, Krithi Shetty,madonna Sebastian did well in their charecters. Sai pallavi dance was amazing. Camera working is good.overall shyam Singha Roy can stand as Nani's career best movie.

Nani and Sai Pallavi, their pair is the Biggest Assert of the film. The way movie was Developed and Presented is just Fantabulous and gonna be one of the Greatest Experiences in Lifetime!!

The film has decent first half with few turns and great pre-interval sequence, and outstanding second half, still wanted more of it.!!

It's recommended for everyone, watch it right away definitely worth your time.

Director Rahul again brings a different and refreshing story and screenplay in front of us after his taxiwalla. His fairytale story blends with beautiful music of Mickey j meyer (underrated gem of Telugu industry), stunning visuals by cinematographer Sanu John Varghese and power pack performances of Nani and sai pallavi to turn into a classic .the other star cast (krthi,abhinav,madona,rahul,murali sharma and everyone else ) too perform their part exceedingly well.

This probably has to be Nani and sai Pallavi's best work till date .

The cinematographer has just done a beautiful beautiful job , I was just mesmerized by the visuals .

A must watch ..

After soo long, this is the movie which gave me full satisfaction.

After tuck jagadish I was really disappointed with Nani, but what a comeback man. He proved why he is called a natural star. And let's not even talk about Sai Pallavi. She has nailed with her expressions.

Gorgeous Saipallavi with nice acting skill, Good Music & Fine Understandable Direction&Screenplay makes interesting to this Film. A Good Telugu Film released after Typical same roasted movies. Finally a must watch film.

Does anyone in the film industry understand the difference between criminal and civil law? No, Mr Sankrityan, you cannot just be put in jail because some company thinks you infringed on a copyright. Only a duly appointed prosecutor can do that.

Speaking of copyright, is there any chance that this violates "Om Shanti Om"'s copyright?

Excellent Movie. Everybody acted well in the movie. BGM in the movie was so good. The movie was so interesting and thrilling. The movie was not at all boring. Excellent Movie.

First half went breeze and suddenly a biggggg slowdown in 2nd . Soru is good but dragged so much . Wish couldn't have been more like rang de :)! We still loved Nani . Liked his character overall Zz and directors vision z.

Shyam Singh Roy (2021) : Brief Review -

A wanna be sensation surrendered to its desperate Telugu mass zone and super fictional predictability. Shyam Singh Roy is based on a reincarnation topic that we all judge as a myth, but the film proves it logically and lawfully right. However, one must understand that it all goes ostensibly fine, not theoretically. Moreover, its hardcore predictability kills the entire thought process. Vasu, an aspiring filmmaker and writer wants to film a short film and requests a stranger girl to be his heroine. You don't even have to predict that somehow the girl agrees and they fall in love. Come on, dear writers, get over this mediocrity at once. So, the next moment he has a big feature film in his hands and expectedly, it's a blockbuster success. Now here we have a turning point of reincarnation, personality disorder, psychological treatment and findings which takes us back to his previous life in 1969. Here, the film goes completely massy. Shyam Singh Roy is writer cum social worker cum messiah for needy ones cum hardcore macho hero. He fights just like you see any macho hero fight in masala film, rather he's quite dashing. One thing I didn't get here was whether the writer was really showing the Bengal of the 1970s. I mean that untouchability issue or Devadasi abrogation was way too old. If I remember well, it was Raja Rammohan Roy who was fighting for it way back in time. The kind of modern, corporated Kolkata Satyajit Ray has shown in his films in the early 70s was not found here. Wasn't it a big loop hole? Anyway, the rest of the story is as predictable as any typical family drama you have been seeing since the 50s. Nani is outstanding as Shyam Singh Roy, but his portrayal of Vasu is no match to it. Sai dances well and Krithi looks gorgeous, that's all. Rahul Sankrityan should have given it a little more thought, an intelligent one i guess, and it would have been a sensational flick. A good attempt though and one time watchable.

Best movie of 2021. Best screenplay after Sagarasangamam. The movie especially second half is visual poetry. Hats off to producer, director, cinemetography, editing, music, lyrics, singers and all the crew members. Outstanding story telling. Nani should feel proud of himself as producer and actor. Sai pallavi as always brilliant. Sankarabharanam, sagara sangamam and now Shyam Singha roy. Such movies happen once a decade.

Great production design.!. Quite a unique film.

Choreography and it's importance to this film, overall completeness gives a great feel to this movie.

Production quality, color grading, background score, song music, all are well done!

The synopsis looks very normal and run off the mill story, but the execution makes the hole different.... Its pure entertainer with mass moments.... First half story flow is average and decent, the second half is extraordinary and gives huge impact to the story....the devadasi scenes and the dialogs are pure art and classic...The dialogs are sharp and elevates the second half very much... At last Nani and Sai Pallavi shines out everyone... Worth the watch.

Simply a classic! Was totally floored by the nani, sai pallavi and Madonna Sebastian roles. 😊and Mickey j Meyer scored a classic sound track especially the hindolam raga based pranavalaya.. Song sung by anurag kulkarni. A national award winning worthy score, I even have a premonition of the movie winning many national awards next year for the costumes music and performance of nani. Totally enjoyed it.

A different concept but somehow predictable Nani performed really well throughout the whole film.

Amazing Telugu cinema creation.. very cinematic and mind blowing music as well. Good plot but when thinking at the end, feel that got the end wrong... how ever must watch.

It's a full packed entertainer with Nani Excellent acting and Sai Pallavi Dance. Story line went very well with different concept.

Nice movie..more than its story plot, i was excited to see the brilliant and classic execution of the film. Each and every frame is captured in our heart. The basic plot of the movie lies on a never relatable superstition and even shown that the law approves it. So what to do is to take it as just a fantasy and not more than that. But making wise the movie is very much satisfying. The makers have given extra care in it's technicality. Saipallavis performance is just amazing... She has carried the character very reasonably. And Nani has played Shyam singha roy very well. His easiness in portraying sucha a powerful character is notable. In total, movie is a visual treat, even if the story plot s not wholly acceptable. Also in certain instances they could have shown care to avoid some clichés existing since a long time. Overall I liked it. Worth watch!!!

It's alright. Nothing worth close to three hours. If they made a movie based on second half alone it'd have been a better movie. Especially since there's no revenge story.

It's a movie of many themes where none of them come to a logical conclusion. The hero is fighting against cast system at one point but it's not entirely about that. He's fighting for woman's rights for a while but that theme doesn't go anywhere.

He randomly writes a short story about some girl I stead of the themes already at play.

It's stupid all around.

Sets, cinematography are fantastic all around.

To cap it off with that stupid cringe fest climax. No thank you. Watch in ott. Or don't This movie doesn't matter.

Beautiful acting by all the cast members. The story is awesome and something really unexpected. Loved to see Nani and Sai Pallavi together in this movie.. would 10/10 recommended this movie for others to watch.
