It all adds up really, why she had to fend for herself and the brother never got an punishment for everytime he would abuse her. Maybe Eric was the mother's favourite but I think it has lot or do with the patriarch. Boys are coddled and for some reason they can never do wrong. I dislike women like this. Her mother's words were plain evil and same as those who blame her for her brothers execution.

So many enablers who can't even take a step back to evaluate the atrocious act Eric did. It wasn't even his first time he had just gotten out of prison for doing a similar crime. He killed this girl cause he didn't want to go back which is why he was super frantic about the murder weapon that he didn't even take a step back and think about the character of the actual person he had asked. I bet in his mind he blocked out all memories were he was nasty to her cause he seemed so entitled. Everyone had to march to the beat of his drum.

Agh that mother. I hope she cut her off. I wonder how she would feel if any of her girls had been murdered and one person out there knew who the perpetrator was and where the murder weapon was, would she be happy knowing her own daughter would never get the justice they deserves because the other family wants to protect the perpetrator.

What's even worse was this mother wanted her child to get away scot free so that he could do this to another poor helpless woman. He had just gotten out prison not that long ago for a similar crimes. Coupled with the fact that he had been in and out of prison since he was a kid. Meaning he was gonna do this again and again unless the sister had not put an end to it.

You're brothers actions got him killed, all you did was save his future victims and turned in a monster. . You're are an incredibly strong women and your moral compass is in the right direction. You did what the courts would not, but should have done from the start. You should rest comfortably at night with a clean conscious knowing you save other lives. It is everyone around you that tried to protect this monster that have no moral compass! Mother included!

The parents would be a big part of the problem for not teaching Eric the consequences of his actions. As he got older he became bolder in his action and was jailed for the rape. Now he learnt that he would need to silence any future victim. Result was murder. The sister was the only one who did the right thing. When the sister handed over the murder weapon and the mother tried to stop it, it was evident how biased the mother was toward her wayward son. The needle was indirectly given to Eric by the mother who was unable to discipline her son from a very early age. To the outspoken sister: YOU TOOK THE RIGHT COURSE OF ACTION.

Passivity & enabling are the "signs" in almost every episode. This entire family enabled the sociopath, but this sister was treated the worst because she was so passive.

This family "just brushed it off." Like every other person in this sickening but educational show.
