Not great but fun to watch. Good selection of songs and Adam Lambert was the best. But synchronized swimmers? Very interesting interpretation of songs but most of those songs were hard to sing. Took bravery to go on tv while the show almost forced you to compare to the real thing. Gosh I miss 'em!
The out of sync vocals to audio. The fact that some sound engineer likely hates one of the Broadway cast since they gave them the voice of a shrieking cat. Then that Jojo just has the complete inability to appear threatening. Derek looked like if someone who had only heard what a biker looked like was given a thrift store gift card and told to create a costume. Musicians that were not playing live. (Seriously? Is that against COVID protocols?) Jimmy Allen did a great job, despite having to work with a puppet.
This show used prerecorded vocals and then put them in with all the audio presentation of 5 cent beer night karaoke. The entire show felt like an hour long tik-tok fail compilation. Truly a kick in the sack to Queen.

Darren Criss wasn't the host. A great trip back to my childhood was ruined by this blathering idiot. His intros were way too long, and I wanted him to STFU already.

I was eager to see currently popular artists pay homage to Queen with some great covers of the band's music. Darren Criss is a very talented guy, but in this production he was given cringe worthy skits with horribly forced dialogue to perform between the musical performances. The only excuse for a talented and versatile guy like Darren Criss to agree to read and perform awful skits like that would be to pay off a large debt that he owed to a vicious loan shark.
The actual musical performances were quite good, including that of Darren Criss. If the creators of the show had only foregone the awful skits and substituted for them more photos and footage of Queen with a voice over full of interesting band history and facts it would have been SO much better.

How could a giant studio like Disney screw up Freddy Mercury's music so absolutely? Do not waste your time with this garbage. Move on and watch something else or just put on a Queen CD. I couldn't watch the whole thing it was that bad.
I created an account just to write a review on this "sing along". I spent 40 painful minutes viewing this. Minute by minute, and second by second, I sat here waiting for this to get better and sadly it fell flat. This is a disgrace to Freddie Mercury's life, music, and legacy. The only good parts were the parts where actual Queen recordings were played, so maybe 2-3 minutes out of 40. Everything that makes Queen's music so powerful was stripped from these artists' renditions. Everyone behind this project should never work in the music industry again, save for Adam Lamber and Fallout Boy.
I couldn't even stomach it! I tried to watch because I love Queen, but this was horrible. I've heard bands perform cover songs and they do a great job making it their own, this was not the case. And of all days to watch, today is the anniversary of Freddie Mercury's death. He would have been appalled. This was an embarrassment for Queen. If you want a better concert, you can see Queen's Live Aid performance on YouTube.

Lame AND disrespectfull event. Fake mustaches, Fake fans, Fake love to the original material. A bunch of wannabies Disney self called "stars". The worst 50 years celebration to one of the greatest bands ever.
Shame to Brian May AND Roger Taylor who allow this creep show happens.
One More Time, this people clearly proves doesn't understand a damn of what Queen legacy and story means.
Truly i see and hear more quality and effort in a lot of home made interpretations on YT. If you think this kind of stuff invites the new generations to appretiate legendary music such as Queen, think again, this is completely wrong AND the worst Is the hosts humor. Awfull, annoying, shameless vacuous and again, disrespectfully.
The perfect proof that money can't replace talent!

Wrong so so wrong.shame on disney for making this. Rather then make a tribute to Queen, they spat in their face. They should remove this from Disney plus immediately so no one else ever needs to see it.
