Another War of the World's movie that just is bad. The script is horrible. The CGI is terrible. Baldwin couldn't act to save his life. Acting was better by no name performers. The storyline is just cheesy. Fits in with the cut and paste sci fi movies of the past few years. . This isn't a thumbs up or down movie because it just lacks thumbs altogether.

Soldiers, including a flag officer, with beards and way too long hair. The general has lieutenant bars on his lapels. Who was there military advisor, Bozo the clown? They all have different guns. Communications to the troops is awful. Shooting in a fog without regard to other soldiers. Remotes should have gone into the smoke. Military not listening to experienced specialists. Where is the connection to the White House during a National emergency? A trained soldier leaving his helmet behind for no reason. Sending in troops without any armored vehicles. And that's just in the first 20 minutes. Acting is not top notch either. I'll try to watch the rest.

This is so bad that it is funny. Take the worst parts of every sci-fi movie and put them into one and this is what you get. I feel so bad for William Baldwin. The only thing they did well is the diversity hiring.

A movie making disgrace. No lie, a disgrace. Generals with beards, horrendous embarrassing CGI that looks like a high schooler did it. I am going to stop. Its not even worthy of any more insults. Tubi, be ashamed for putting your name on this Trash!!!!!

Pleeeeeeaasssse! Don't waste your time on this like I did. This is one of the worst movies I've seen in a while. The acting is terrible. The storyline is terrible. I've seen many incarnations of War of the Worlds, and I assure you you'd be better off watching the 1950s version of this film. At least you would expect the obvious fakeness.

The storyline is so forced and incoherent it's nonsensical. The acting is over the top. The CG is so obvious they might as well have used cardboard props. I thought it would have at least some good chops seeing there's a Baldwin head lining, but no, that guy must have been desperate to even take that role. For heaven's sake, the guy plays a 3 star General with a face full of unkempt hair and gets bossed around by a supposed lieutenant. Since when does an O-1/O-2 occupy the same breathing space as an O-9, let alone have her tell him/her what they should or should not do? God that drives me nuts!

This is just all bad!

Based on the previews that were shown on TV I was really looking forward to this. However, this is by far the worst movie ever made. The plot was thin with a bunch of holes, the special effects were poor but at least the acting stinks. Do not waste your time with this.

If you want a good laugh making fun of the acting, this is the one. The main actress Arie Thompson really needs to tone down her so called acting skills...talk about extreme. LOL. It may become one of those cult movie.....

My god last time i saw him in a decent movie was Virus back in 1999.

So many great movies in the 80 and 90 and now he is reduced to movies like this... but why.

The worst movie ever is coming to fry your brain. I can't believe that there are people out there writing garbage this bad and directors that are so horrible that it makes you wanna choke on your own vomit. What is this world coming to. Is everybody high on crack when they're writing this crap. Stay away from this garbage all the reviews are on the money. A anyone who had a role in this movie should never be allowed to ever act again.

William Baldwin plays a tough no nonsense General that completely steals the show! He has many ranking stars and most likely is a six star General from what I could count. By far the best haircut in the movie, and the best acting chops, he really takes control. I also love the use of fog in this movie. It creates a suspenseful mood when needed, and an integral part of the plot. One of the best characters in the movie in my opinion. The leader army woman underwhelms in her enthusiasm for the alien invasion, but makes up for it with her running around skills. All in all, and entertaining movie so buckle up!

Oh come on these reviews are outrageous, the movie was really good, who cares about weither the people have beards or not. It was a good story line and the ending was a perfect ending for a part 2, it was 153 mins long and went by so quick. Full of action a goid story line, deserves much better reviews.

This movie Chas the worst acting I have ever seen. The actors looked like they just walked on to the set with no acting experience. How can a movie even be made like this.

I never cry at movies, but this was so terrible I felt actual pain sitting through it. The acting is awful, the script is almost as bad. This is an insult to War of the Worlds, then to add further insults, the aliens are human!? I'm sure they wasn't in the actual WoW film. This film is clearly made with the intention to teach us all a lesson about how we are destroying earth. 'I SEE HOW YOU CARE FOR PEOPLE, YOU DON'T DESERVE THIS' says hot lady alien, Yes we do, just for making this film.

You don't even need to watch it to know exactly what will happen. Whyyyyy would they send down alien refugees before they even know the outcome of the attack. Look, please for your own sake don't watch this film. It's actually shameful. Alien attack, military people say powerful quotes, random American lady saves the world yaaaay. The 1 star is for the hilarious ending.

Well, let's just face it, the title alone makes you stop and take a step back. I mean, this 2021 sci-fi movie just had cheese all over it. But still, I opted to sit down and watch it, as I had the opportunity to do so, and also because it was a movie that I hadn't already seen.

Needless to say that I wasn't harboring much of any expectations or hopes for the movie. And then when I saw The Asylum written on the screen, I just knew that it was going to be one of those movies.

And true enough, "War of the Worlds: Annihilation" is an archetypical movie from The Asylum. Not exactly the traditional mockbusters that they tend to pump out, but a cheesy sci-fi movie that is driven by a lousy plot, horrible CGI and just all-round low budget feel. So if you enjoy such things, then you are in for a blast here with this 2021 movie.

The storyline, as written by Conor Dowling, was so amazingly bland and generic, that the movie could have had any title and it would still be the same lousy experience. So don't get your hopes up for the "War of the Worlds" aspect that the title of the movie is carrying.

The acting in the movie was adequate, despite the fact that the actors and actresses had very little to work with in terms of a properly written script and plot, and also with a rather bland character gallery.

Visually then "War of the Worlds: Annihilation" was as to be expected. The CGI in the movie looked like something from an early 2000s computer game. It was rather atrocious and horrible to look at, and even hard to take it seriously.

My rating of director Maximilian Elfeldt's "War of the Worlds: Annihilation" lands on a three out of ten stars.

Where to begin. From Asylum, which has been known to make low budget movies, but this doesn't rise to that level. At the start, the General has three stars on his shoulder, and Second Lt. Bars on his lapel. Very interesting rank. The acting is at a bad level. There are bad alien invasion films, but this one really holds strongly onto the bottom rungs.

While I confess, I really hate the Baldwins, this movie was even appalling despite them or the idiot brother in this pile of utter garbage.

To even list this monstrosity as a movie is frankly thousands of orders of magnitude above this nonsense.

Don not watch this crap for any reason at all. In fact, I am prepared to guarantee that as long as you have at least 1 twitching and thinking brain cell, you will turn this garbage off in less than 4 minutes.

I don't know who payed for this movie to be made. Its a disaster just watching it. And before I forget I know William Baldwin isn't known for 'A' lister movies but this movie ranges in the top D category. Its bad, really bad. But you can get a good laugh just criticizing as it goes. I don't recommend it unless you love to be tortured just tryna get through it. Thats what I'm doing right now tryna get through it.

I seem to find this movie to be one of the best alien movies I have ever seen. I think anyone who wrote a bad review on this hasn't ever bothered to watch it. All I am saying is in my opinion this is amazing!

After reading all the negative reviews for some reason I still decided to watch it. I went in with low expectations understanding it was a B movie and had some cheesy special effects. After a while I actually cared about the characters and ended up enjoying this movie. It is what it is but it was fun!!

It was fun to see William Baldwin do his best impression of Alec yet. Not just the voice, but the hair and the beard too. I assume he's planning to replace his brother after this unfortunate Rust business.
