This film here takes place at an amusement park where there are three large rides that are basically putting people in the air and then spinning them towards the ground. This film from the Lumiere Brothers is certainly entertaining to watch today as it gives you a great look at the type of entertainment people had in 1896. The carnival ride is certainly silly looking and very slow for today's times but it's still fascinating getting to see how things were so long ago. There's also a large crowd of people watching so getting to see the type of clothing being worn is another plus.
