I Side With Marahall And Lily

Plot In A Paragraph: Ted upsets Lily when he brings "one of his random skanks" along to her birthday party. Lily argues that Ted and his many random skanks have ruined a lot her treasured group photos, whilst Ted says Lily is just being a birthday snob!! Meanwhile Robin notices, there is not a bad photo of Barney in all of Lily's photos (in fact he pulls the exact same pose in every picture) so she sets about getting a bad photo of Barney, but it proves impossible.

It is hard to argue with Marshall and Lily on this one, as Ted just turned up at their house with his guest, without even asking them. Also instead of Ted bringing Lily's favourite cheesecake, Amanda (a chef) was going to bake a cake instead. What happened with the cake was ridiculous!! Just his stupid was this Woman?? She was certainly no Dinah in the kitchen!! Ted demanding Marahall apologise to Amanda was ridiculous.

That said the Barney plot was once again a lot of fun!!

This a fun episode that is really a good indicator of

What HIMYM is. Light and funny and easy to watch. Funny, real, emotional, etc. Not great...and almost an 8, but not quite. But really enjoyable.

This show is worthwhile despite Ted

Ted is an idiot. This show is carried by everyone else outside of Ted. Even voiceover Ted is better than actual Ted.

    Very funny

One of the funniest episodes I've seen in the series. Barney just makes this show. The dialogue in this episode was very witty and I always love the flashbacks.

    • Trivia
This episode, where they celebrated Lily's 32nd birthday, aired on March 22, 2010, 2 days before Alyson Hannigan's 36th birthday.
    • Goofs
In this episode Barney claims he has never taken a bad picture. Though in S5E04 "The sexless innkeeper' in Marshall's photo montage of their double date every picture of Barney is bad.
    • Quotes

Barney Stinson: [Barney brags about his usual picture pose] I always look drop dead, stone-cold amazing... unlike Marshall, who just looks dead, stoned, and cold.
