    I actually like this show

My wife and I record and watch a couple episodes every night, when other newer programs aren't available. The one thing that perturbs me is why are the women cops, Brenda and others, wearing high heeled shoes when on a crime scene?

I know a lot of cops, both male and female, and unless I run into them at the theatre or a restaurant, they are always wearing conventional shoes, always black, and securely laced up.

I have no idea what they wear when they are at home with their family, etc.

One of Flynn's (Tony Denison) best!

My husband and I LOVE this show so much. We own it on DVD, digital and still watch it when it comes on TV. I can probably quote from every single episode. And this episode is truly one of Tony Denison's best because we get to see his physicality in motion. I mean the man did his own stunt work in this whole scene. (So he said in an interview about the episode at the time). I mean it's usually his and Provenza's(GW Bailey) antics that cause a ruckus, and it's usually their fault. But this time he was in the right and Denison played the part masterfully.

So if you aren't a fan of this show, please run now and watch from the start. I just wish that it had stayed around longer than 7 seasons. Major Crimes was ok, but NOTHING like The Closer.... NOT EVEN CLOSE!

The establishing exterior shot of the building containing the storage unit is of a structure that actually has a storage unit company in it. It is a Los Angeles landmark at Pico and Normandie, recognizable by the Byzantine - Latino District neon sign on its roof and an angel mural on the side.

When the old money is brought in there are two odd things that happen. Tao immediately notices it's the old design with Nicholas Brady's name on it and naturally remembers that he was Secretary of the Treasury from 1988-1993. For some reason it didn't occur to Tao to just look at the dates printed on the bills to see how old they were. The other odd thing is that everyone acts like this something they didn't know, as if they don't remember when the old money was in circulation just a few years before. What's more, Gabriel and Provenza, who had previously counted it to determine how much there was, act like they didn't even notice it was the old design when they counted it.

Sgt. David Gabriel: Chief, I just ran into Captain Raydor out in the hallway and she said "hello" to me.

Detective Lt. Provenza: She's up to something.
