    Freedom of Speech

Matt and Trey have always understood the importance of the freedom of speech and what it means to stand for it. This episode is the jester jesting at the court of public opinion for how it views free speech. It makes us laugh and understand our own faults and cognitive dissonance as a society. The only shame of it is that Comedy Central never saw it the same way.

Two of the best episodes of this fantastic show!

    • Trey and Matt executed a perfect two parter of their commentary on the practice of censorship and reaction. The entire episode centers on the concept of an individual's pursuit to no longer be harassed or satirized by aligning themselves with the idea of violence and terror. The episode has plenty of shock-and-awe humor, which is mainly complemented by the bizarre but humorous ideas that writer Trey Parker was able to align in the episodes' storyline. It is a shame that both Comedy Central (and most likely HBO Max) have removed this episode completely from public viewing, but if one were to purchase the Season 14 Blu-Ray, this is a two-parter you wouldn't want to miss.

    Absolutely EPIC!

South Park finally has reached 200 episodes! So therefore it would be necessary that Trey & Matt make a great and epic episode to celebrate it."200" is a great episode! One of the best in recent years! The episode features every single celebrity (at least most of them), threatening to sue the town of South Park for all the slander they have been receiving from them. They are led by Tom Cruise. He says he will drop the lawsuit, if the town can bring them the prophet Muhammed. So now they have to figure out how to give them Muhammed without him being seen, fearing terrorist attack.Meanwhile, other plots from previous episodes such as the "who is Cartman's father?" plot is being brought up again."200" is a great episode because it makes plenty of hilarious references to previous episodes and many characters return.Overall, "200" is an excellent episode.Oh and its probably a two-parter!

    • Trivia
This episode led to death threats being levied against Trey Parker and Matt Stone. On the now defunct site RevolutionMuslim, a poster stated that Parker and Stone would end up like Theo Van Gogh, the cartoonist who was stabbed to death for drawing Muhammad. That poster, Zachary Chesser was later sentenced to 25 years in federal prison for the threats and other charges.

Stan Marsh: Hey guys, check it out. Tom Cruise is a fudge packer!

Tom Cruise: What did you call me?

Eric Cartman: Hey, that is Tom Cruise!

Butters: How come you're packin' fudge, Mr. Cruise?

Tom Cruise: I'm not a fudge packer!

Kyle Broflovski: Dude, you don't have to be ashamed or anything.

Tom Cruise: But I'm not a fudge packer!

[while packing fudge into a box]

Stan Marsh: Then why are you packing fudge?
