This. More of this. This was what we needed and wanted, the joining of hands between ex-enemies, setting aside differences and banding together to fight for the greater good to stop the genocide. Regardless of the fact that Hange & co. Stand to be beneficiaries of the genocide.
Hange's speech was very needed to combat the pro genocide narratives floating around ever since episode 5. No, Erwin would not have supported Eren or the Yeagerists, and neither would anyone else from the SC. The Survey Corps fought for the freedom of humanity, not just the island, to seek understanding through dialogue and diplomacy.
'We haven't even had a chance to talk this over!!'
A line that is brought up once more when the opportunity to talk things out finally arrives and all sides of the conflict gather at the campfire before they go on to fight Eren. Really glad to see all character dynamics come into play here, which I bet many were waiting for this kind of moment. 'I'm the same as you' is one of the most ubiquitous phrases in the post-time-skip and it's obvious why. The only thing separating them was a wall preventing communication from being established, and it all came crumbling down when push came to shove and the world's fate was at stake. And that's exactly why it's so satisfying when they all band together, to bring forth that miracle of friendship Uri chose to believe in, culminating in an alliance of ex-enemies in order to save the world.
The colour palette this episode was vibrant and colourful, with the entire campfire scene being pretty well adapted. Although I'd very much rather have the facial expressions and flashbacks from the manga adapted, our S;G storyboarder showed us his creative vision which cleverly utilises background shots and negative space to craft visual imagery for the theme of "Getting out of the forest" which is ever so pertinent for this episode. Since dialogue episodes are kinda my thing, this one is a clear favourite of mine.

Attack on Titan has finally reached it end in what is most likely one of the greatest anime tv shows of all time! Clever, inventive and NEW plot has essentially taken the anime world by force as this plot is so unique and beyond the scope of any other anime on the market today that Attack on Titan is in itself a colossi!
It is so rare and unique to have a truly well written story such as this. So much of entertainment today is reboots, and remakes that it is truly rare to have a studio come forwards with an inventive plot. Nowadays when a unique and new plot comes out it really stands out! Every imaginable form of anime has repeated the same story or some teen that has special powers that they use to fight evil and is basically the same story with a different set of outer clothing over and over in so many shows. That's what makes this show so great! It ISNT that!
A rare and original story, compelling characters with backstory, wide and expansive lore. Those characteristics are what define a unique story like this one. Great soundtrack, epic backdrops, foreboding danger around every potential corner and it makes AOT one of the great and unique amines of its time! I give this anime 9/10 and it is basically required watching for almost every single anime fan!

A carefully weaven episode that starts of slow at first but this builds the growing tension. And the culmination is quite beautiful to behold. It is an episode without any action but it resounds ideologies, moral and ethical issues that echo 'freedom'.
I respect the writer who respects his audience, and that's what I like about Attack on Titan.
The new alliance between the enemies will not come that easily, there are so many obstacles that are addressed in this episode, and the way it happened very interesting, because most of the info that have been said we already knew as a viewers, but we get the chance to experience their reaction about what happened or about each other.
I liked the way they react to their doings, the ugliness in their actions, every one of them did unforgivable sins, everyone except that he/ she is wrong (not in a tacky way of usual speech about right and wrong). Just by silence and the sorrow in their Faces.
Very emotional episode, and I can't wait to see what's next.

The tone of this episode is gloomy and resumes the dark mood this season accustomed us so far. Several characters from different factions are united to defeat a greater threat, the tension from the previous seasons re-emerge, untold stories are revelaed. This is indeed a nicer episode with respect to the previous one, which broke the suspension of disbelief in more than an occasion. An episode that prepare us for the next (but not final) showdown of the last three episodes of the season.

It is dwelled with each character the regret and hatred for the reasons behind their original intentions. Yelena speaks out about everyones bad deeds, it proves that the focus for bloodshed will just bring bloodshed back. The battle between Marleyans and Eldians is pointless, saving everyone's life from Eren and the Rumbling is now the more targeted approach. Hange's speech on a pointless genocide reflects everyone they have lost in the past. Reiner completely full of regret.
Annie's personality was more accurate in this episode, still as stubborn as ever and the intention to get home with her father still being her main focus.
The new team move forward to try and save the world from Eren but run into problems at the docks. Floch looking like he's completely lost his mind, blinded by his own revolution.
Better than the last episode, not really any action but core story of loss, regret and understanding.
9.1/10.

This episode really got to me from the very first scene! This episode shows the characters, facing what they have done and what they have to do! I Really liked Jean in this episode! Feel like he is underrated and he deserves these strong character moments. Yelena Even got some characterization! Once again AOT proves you dont need action to make a good episode.

This episode surprised me in a good way. It consisted mainly of dialogue with little in the way of story progression, but what we instead got was some of the best dialogue and character development I've ever seen in a TV show.
A masterpiece episode
CGI 10/10
Described the war in the most beautiful way and its consequences
John and Gabi also have significant personality development.
The group that will save the world is together after just hours ago trying to kill each other. Tensions are obviously high as they sit around a fire preparing to stop Eren from causing a mass genocide of everyone outside Paradis. It's a common trope, having two sides that were just at war joining together in a common goal, but it's rare that it feels this realistic. Hange is the only mediator in the group and they actually understand that trying to force people to stop arguing or not letting people get their point across will only lead to further tensions. Five years worth of hate, betrayal, broken trust, misplaced xenophobia, and more come spilling out as former comrades are reunited and the past acts of the characters are laid out before them. "Night of the End" is one of the rare quiet, dialogue-based episodes of Attack On Titan and the tension here is done just as well as any of the others before it.

In a chapter all about character interactions, their emotions and expressions they focussed on furniture and trees for so much of the episode. The most important interactions between characters happened off screen.
It feels like production collapsed or they became lazy because this episode focused on still shots of tree branches for so long instead of animating anyones facial expressions, which is a shame since this episode was finished ahead of schedule. Multiple pages of manga happened offscreen and even dialogue cut.

We all now know that the alliance hasn't been formed in harmony as many of us have claimed before, a lot of tension has awesomely been released before the trip
for Me, it's a great episode even being a genocide fan myself.

This episode reminds me a lot of Midnight Sun from Season 3, an episode that was also almost entirely dialogue based and focused on the conflicting ideologies of its characters rather than on the action and yet it still managed to be just as captivating as some of most action packed episodes of Attack on Titan.
It just goes to show what a powerful effect good voice acting and score can have, when coupled with great dialogue, on a narrative. That even as something as mundane as a bunch of people sitting around a camp talking can be equally as exciting as two huge titans fighting. A great example of the efficacy of animation as a medium and why people are just as enthusiastic to see an episode even after having read the manga.

I never get this emotional during aot episode before, the atmosphere was well done and the stress between the characters was expressed properly, for me jean was the mvp in this whole arc his character is really relatable and got a lot of development during this journey.

This was better than Pride but still too contrived to say that the show has been "saved". It's very clear that the show wants to set up this one and particular plot line at the expensive of continuity, something the story has never done before now.
Attack on Titan is a fantastic show because nothing is contrived. Everything happens organically. Until now that is.
They try to explain the events of last episode but the truth is, the explanation favors why this plot line should be scrapped.

There's sometimes in life where you juts can't lie anymore. The people who support this show here on imbd are lying to you and that should not garner your respect.
Everyone knows Attack on titan has one of the better storylines in literary works, so its a given the story is still going to be good enough to somewhat keep you engaged, but the ANIMATION (of this ep in particular) was terrible. It looked cheap and rushed. Characters were ugly and not well drawn at times.
Not to mention the episode-padding where they showed branches in the forest over and over because that's where we are at in MAPPA's cheaply made re-make of AOT.
Emotional content was great and in a timeline where the animation was too we'd have greatness, because animation MATTERS in anime.

I can't believe what the hell is happening to this
Show , i have been rating all the episodes since session one 10/10 , but now i can even believe how the story change to the worse way you could ever imagine!! In last 2 episodes !!
Wow, a solid 10/10 episode and definitely better that the last 2 episodes.
Could've been better? Absolutely. But still its very great, the drawing especially makes me thank Mappa episode after episode.
Loved how they opened up about their feelings and emotions as we couldn't see what the actual main characters feels about whats Eren doing.
One question in mind, does end justifies the means? If only they ask themselves they'll know where to stand, with or against Eren.
Conclusion? Jan is the hero of the episode, next episode gonna be full of events unlike the last2.
