    Embarrassingly awful

This sounded exciting but turned out to be one of the lamest films I have ever seen. The biggest problem is that you feel utterly unsympathetic towards the main characters. The bad acting is only highlighted by the documentary style, the action is boring, and the plot is covered with holes. The torturers are so one dimensional and badly researched that you wonder if the writers had any idea what they were talking about at all. It would have been so easy to show more of the activists and turn them into really meaty villains,(regardless of which political side you are on), but no... it\s just terribly written, poorly acted and a complete waste of time and money. Watch it for a good belly chuckle at its sheer awfulness, but that\s probably all you\ll get out of it. Yawn yawn yawnnnn. Lame!!!

    Worse movie of the year

The title of the film initially peeked my interest. I figured it was going to be a horror flick. The whole documentary idea was very distracting. Right when you thought the movie was getting a little dramatic, there's the documentary voice over. I mean, what is the deal with that? 30 minutes into the movie, I was bored out of my mind and could not focus and I rarely feel this way with movies. Even some of the bad ones. I was forced to fast forward it little by little until the whole movie was over. Than I'm like, "That's it?" It was beyond a "D" movie. Low budget to the max with highly untrained actors. Not worth the money folks. There were never a climatic part to the movie and the documentary approach made the movie far worse than what it already is. I recommend you watch this movie while you are asleep at night.

    LOL @ fake description!

"BLOODED finally tells the full story behind one of the most extreme internet virals of modern times." I have LITERALLY never heard of this movie until this very moment. I've never even heard of the event it's based on. "Extreme internet viral"? WHERE? Not here in the USA. The write up is more proof this was just some pack of little brats trying to manufacture popularity... ...and failing horribly. Bored me to tears. I had more fun fapping and building a Gundam model while this dragging, sloppy movie had temporarily adorned my monitor in a 1-time showing.

    True story

Things that are based on true stories do not work all the time. The way this is conceived and planned out, make it intriguing, but also quite flawed too. There are the main characters who tell us their point of view of what is happening. Now I'll leave it up to you to decide how much of a morality tale this is.

And who has the upper hand when it comes to moral supperiority. There are arguments to be made on both sides I reckon - but do we care enough for the main characters or their opponents to really engage in them? In a general matter of speaking I'd say we all have our own thoughts and mind made up .. but for the purposes of the movie ...

    Interesting idea, well delivered.

At first you feel cheated by the film's 'documentary' approach. you know the character's survive because they're right in front of you being interviewed, but as the film picked up speed you realise that this isn't a slasher film and that character survival isn't important.

The film is a moral dilemma, are the hunters in the right as innocent victims? or are the animal rights protesters in the right for defending animals through drastic measures? Really, both are right, and both are wrong. But it's up to the audience to pick a side.

this refusal to pull the audience one way or another is a very strong narrative technique, the film will divide audiences, and some people will dislike it as a result, but those are the same people that will want to just see a straight horror film where the killer is known from the start and the victims are easily identifiable.

Strong performances, stunning visuals and a clever script help produce a fine film which is thoroughly enjoyable and will keep you thinking about it long after the credits have rolled.

Charlie Bell: Extremism, anywhere in the world, it's all about shouting louder than everyone else until you get to the point where everyone's shouting so loudly on all sides of the debate that the issue, what they're shouting about, is no longer as important as the fact that they're shouting and that's when the focus is lost and that's where people get hurt.
