If you want flat jokes, with canned laughter after almost every sentence, with beautiful people in an unrealistic setting, then this is the show for you. Cheesy lines, Kids trying to be funny, unrealistic delivering of lines, the whole thing is ridiculously bad. How anyone could find this brain rot funny is beyond me as there's not even an infinitesimal shred of genuine humour. They try to be funny but it doesnt make sense. What annoys me most is the canned laughter, as mentioned. It really gets on my nerves. Loud, brash, over the top ... kids will love it but parents may feel different after listening to it constantly.

Disney has had some great shows . . . and some giant flops. This is the latter. It's poorly written with many re-used jokes that have been done over and over already, the timing is off, and they just aren't funny. The acting is mediocre, and some of the more "serious" lines had me laughing at the amateur delivery. The actress who plays Jessie is just annoying, and the rest of the characters just don't mesh. It feels like they're trying too hard to act, and it's not natural by any means. Unless it's the only channel you get, and it's the only show on at the time, you're going to want to skip this one. It's a bigger waste of time than trying to watch an Adam Sandler movie.
This show is just awful. The content is too vulgar and immoral for children to watch. The kids are unsupervised by yet another non-guardian figure and have no remorse to talk down upon the adult butler. It is absolutely disgusting the level of malcontent thats portrayed in this show. I do not see how any person of sound mind could even consider this show for their children. I can't imagine too many adults would waste their time watching a show that has the audacity to undermine the most basic of what can be considered decent morals. I hope no children ever idolizes this show or grows up to mimic anyone portrayed in it.

Can this even be considered a comedy? I was forced to watch this show with my little cousin. I thought maybe the Disney Channel had produced another magical show for young children to love! But boy was I wrong. Three words.... WORST SHOW EVER! Upon watching this I found myself literally falling asleep. Each joke's timing was off (If you even consider calling them jokes). Each one was awkward and I didn't once crack a smile the whole time watching this. The plots were really stupid and cliché. The characters are random and they don't work well together at all. I couldn't stand it! The acting was terrible and all over the place. Not even my 8 year old cousin liked it. She fell asleep within the first 10 minutes of the show. If this show fails to entertain the most easy to please 8 year old then who could it possibly bring joy to? I'm honestly really embarrassed for Disney. This show is putting Disney Channel to shame. I hate it. They can do 100 times better than this! I'd rather watch the paint dry on my wall. I won't be surprised if this show gets cancelled before the second season.
I realize this is television but "Jessie" is so unrealistic, so stereotypical and so predictable I cannot stand it. 4 spoiled children, who know they are beyond wealthy and treat their caretakers like servants. School is rarely mentioned. Conflicts are resolved within seconds. Nearly EVERY line of dialogue is a faint grasp at a laugh.
It seems as though the desire for "things" is more important than anything on this show. Makeup, style, clothing, social status are the common thread, as well as the cast getting themselves out of "Three Stooges" style situations, SOME even sci-fi. What IS the point of this show? Am I missing something?
I have watched many, many episodes with my 7 year old daughter and tried so diligently to detract her from this show. The one and only thing that she and I agree on is Kevin Chamberlin/Bertram. She says he is hilarious. I agree. He belongs on a GOOD show. His timing and delivery are best served someplace where they can be appreciated. I SO hope to see him on another show!

This is a horrible show all it does is set up how bullying is funny for instance Ravi who gets wedgies at school and Jessie leaves him to deal with it. Jessie who continually puts the kids down and that leaves it open to the kids to do the same to each other. How Jessie puts her own needs over the kids and two parents who adopted all these kids and then basically ignores them. How the kids continually tease, pick-on and put down the butler and they do it for a bunch of cheap laughs. Can anyone say irresponsible I guess I wouldn't get so mad except right now Disney is pushing the anti bullying campaign and here they have a very mean little show. The scary part is how popular it is I guess the kids these days just prefer laughing at people being bullied to lifting them up to be the best they can be.

Jessie, you make me happy. Why? Because now, if I ever get into show business, the competition will be weaker than than the US' current economy. See, this show is moronic. It ruins an already dead network with clichés, stereotypes, and an awkward way of launching the careers of tons of soon-to-be movie stars. Hopefully, the people in this show will somehow manage to terminate this from their records as an actor/actress. They might have a better chance of finding more work if they do. The deal with this crud is that they try to appeal to the same audience they ALWAYS do. Then, the show becomes a clone of all other shows on Disney Channel. Unfortunately, most of the people that grow up on this garbage will probably go into TV, and this cycle will start itself back up. So people, if you want to see a GOOD Disney show, you should check out "Teacher's Pet", "Lloyd in Space", or "The Emperor's New School". If you want to see a BAD Disney show, you should probably get professional psychiatric help before settling on this riff-raff.
I use to grow up with Disney Channel when i was a kid, it use to have great shows like The Suite Life of Zach and Cody, Hannah Montana, Kim Possible, Lizzie McGuire & others, it used to be awesome back then until..., 2011 was the year Jessie came out, my brother and sister used to love it, because it was funny, well, to me it was not, it is basically a rip-off of New Girl and it has the same humor with ICarly mixed to it, but at least it had four kids not three, anyway, Jessie is one of the worst shows i've ever seen on Disney Channel, it is so dumb and unfunny, the acting sucks, the characters are stupid and the plot is just garbage, this has to be a NG copycat but like i said it has four kids, and Debby Ryan is so not funny as Jessie, because she makes too much pop culture references, also, the show has to be trash.

Your view of this show will probably track with your opinion of sitcoms such as Who's the Boss or Happy Days.
If you think those shows are awesome, you might like this one too.
Me? I have a six-year old who is just starting to watch this sort of thing, and it represents the very worst that TV has to offer:
o Laugh track
o Predictable. Set up/punch line. Set up/punch line. You know how every joke ends before they're half-way into it.
o A multi-racial cast apparently drafted by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. I'm all in favor of a diverse cast, but this represents the worst of the worst -- a boy from India who makes jokes about curry and karma; an adorable African-American girl who is "sassy",and, worst of all, a young boy who is age-inappropriately horny for the teen-age Jessie...
Don't get me wrong -- there are plenty of shows out there for kids that are great - - Odd Squad, Gortimer Gibbon's Life on Normal Street...
Fer gawds sake, whatever happened to the eminently smart and witty original Rocky and Bullwinkle, or the Warner Brothers cartoons from the '50s? Violent, rude, intelligent, and hilarious I can only hope that someday Bugs Bunny will show up and kick Jessie's ass.
Ugh.
The only good thing I can say about Jessie is that I used to think that Liv and Maddie was the worst show ever... I didn't know how good I had it.

The characters are just knock offs and the worst show in Disney history only people without humour will get as a good show. The characters are just the worst I mean; Ravi is Asian and the character from the 1986 show, Together We Stand, also has an Asian, Sam (Johnathan Ke Quan). Zuri, is a rude girl and is a knock off of Sally (Natasha Boo Boo). Emma is a prissy dumb blind, who is a a knock off of Amy (Katie O' Neal). Luke is probably the most dumbest boy ever, who is a knock off of Jack (Scott Grims). Jessie is the worst character that would be a failure on any other show, she is a knock off of the show The Nanny's own Nanny, Fran Fine (Fran Dresser). The plot and summary of the entire show is the worst of them all, not even close to another Disney or Nick show, I feel that this is a knock off of The Nanny's plot and summary of the entire show and The Nanny actually has humour that will make you laugh. The Nanny plot is, Fran tries to do her dream job and tries to sell things to a rich men Mr. Sheffield. The Father has a bigger plan for her to be a nanny for his three kids who are mainly known from the rich. Jessie, tries to purse her dreams but ends up taking a Nanny job after a another Nanny quited. Taking care of the rich kids. The family has a movie father and mother in Jessie, while The Nanny's Mr. Sheffield is a screenplay writer and theatre productor. Hmmmm. . .Not a coincidence, its a knock off.

Hello there! T.tree here!Today I will be reviewing Jessie, a show from the Disney channel. This show would've been a lot better if certain circumstances had been reached. Here are the PROs and CONs of the show: PROs: 1. The premise of the show is quite cute. 2. Some of the characters are interesting. 3. It's a kids' show. Give it a break. CONs: 1. Debby Ryan- worst actress EVER. Stay away from films with her in it. They're bad. 2. Even though the show is cute, it is also dumb, as most Disney channel shows are. 3. It contains the Disney channel stereotypes. Since this is a Disney show, I am going to list the clichés it uses: 1. Teen crushing 2. Teenage main protagonist 3. Kids behave like brats. Overall, this show would be rated 5 out of 10 stars by me, but Debby Ryan is in it, so I'm going to give this 1 out of 10 stars because she ruined it. Next time, pick something else for your kids to watch.

the actress that plays as Jessie should of ended her career on suite life on deck. really. her attitude stinks, she thinks shes all that, just no, this show should be canceled asap please. and i see it on netflix nobody wants to watch that. i'm tired of seeing this show on Disney every time i want to watch something good on TV. i see this annoying show on. please just make it go away. her career needs to end along with the show. because these Disney shows aren't working for her or for anyone else more importantly. I hope someone of Disney reads my comment to know this show and any other show similar is garbage. and i know for a fact I'm not the only viewer who feels as strongly as i do and they take my review into deep consideration. i have good taste in shows and in comedy and Disney isn't good at all with comedy. so just stick to interesting shows that are packed with drama, or go back to plain mickey mouse shows, watching goofy fall off of a mountain anything but this please and thank you.

Is it just me or when people watch this show, they'd yell "Someone turn that sh*t off!" when watching it? That's something I would say when watching this garbage. Ravi's accent is so annoying, but not as annoying as the ugly Ariana Grande's Cat Valentine accent, which is a billion times more annoying. Zuri is an annoying little brat who's always apeshit about anything. This show is so stupid, it deserves all the hate it gets. Why does this have a 6/10 like Austin & Ally?! These two shows should both have a 1.3/10. I think Disney Channel should make more cartoons as long as they're like GOOD shows they've had like Fish Hooks, Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil, Gravity Falls, Wander Over Yonder, or Phineas and Ferb. I haven't watched The 7D, but my friends at school say it seems good.

I was the biggest Jessie fan when I was kid but when i watch this now i realize it's not funny and funny at all. I took note of the jokes I laughed at for 4 seasons and only saw that I laughed 4 times? I don't understand how Disney Channel did such good things in the same years and so badly at the same time. It's sad that Jessie is so bad when there are good shows with both adult and kid jokes like Good Luck Charlie, Waverly Wizards.. The acting of the actors who play Jessie, Ravi, Zuri and Emma is beyond awful. And debby ryan is constantly trying to throw her arms back and show her body throughout the drama to make her physique look good. They react with exaggerated facial expressions to everything said. And if, for example, someone suddenly goes out, someone says, "Hey guys!" and instead of just looking, they go to that person in droves. I really never understood the people who said Jessie wasn't a good show until now, but now that I watch it again, I realize how bad it was. No this is not bad. 'Cause it sucks.

The show is full of corny acting and Bad Stereotypes. You got a Nerdy Indian kid doing a fake Indian Accent. You got a dude acting like a total lady's man. The dumb Blonde and a Sassy sarcastic black girl. You also got the Country tight Texas girl. It's pretty bad and the plot is unrealistic. Wik individual is off don't listen.
For some reason that is unknown to the universe, my sisters like this show. The plot is dumb, the characters are stereotypical, there's no funny bits, and don't get me STARTED with the laughing track! Fun fact: Whenever the characters say something "funny" and the laughing track plays I "laugh" with it and it annoys my sisters but not nearly as much as this dumb, dumb, SO dumb show annoys me.
The kids are rude to the nanny and so annoying, especially Luke who likes someone who is like 10-15 years older than him! Emma is super dumb and only cares about shoes! Zuri is an annoying little brat! The character playing Ravi puts on a fake accent! And Bertram dates a coffee machine!!! The acting is so bad!!! Did I mention that they are rude and disrespectful to their nanny? Take my advice and avoid this show at all costs.
