"Mancation" was actually anything but funny, and I can say that I honestly didn't laugh a single time throughout the entire movie.
I should be said that director Frank Vain is trying to put together a comedy here, but it just failed miserably. The jokes were far between and when they were there, the punchlines were off and the comedy just wasn't there.
The story in "Mancation" is about Vince (played by Matt Kawczynski) who just have gotten married to the boss's daughter. Upon their wedding day he comes home and finds her in bed with the bridesmaid; it turns out that she is a lesbian, and has been so all throughout their relationship. Together with his brother Leo (played by Stephen Medvidick) and his two friends Brady (played by Joey Fatone) and Adam (played by Jake Matthews), Vince travels to Atlantic City to meet up with his high school sweetheart.
Right, storywise, then "Mancation" did have potential, just a shame that the storyline wasn't fully brought to justice given the bad jokes and lack of comedy throughout the entire movie. It should be said that the people cast for the various roles were actually doing good enough jobs, it was just the script that was working against them.
The only memorable scene in the entire movie is the controversy stand-off between Adam and Igor (played by Derek Lindeman). It wasn't actually funny, but it was so bizarre and disturbing that it stood out in an otherwise stale and irrelevant movie.
If you are looking for comedy, then your money would be better spent on something else. There really isn't much to come here for, truth be told.

I saw this movie at a screening in Philadelphia. I laughed so hard my sides were sore the rest of the night. The audience roared through the whole movie. The best part about the screening was that it was a well diverse audience. Not just 20-35 year old males, a good mix of male and female. Some scenes had me laughing so hard I was crying.
The main stars were very good, the unknown actors made the movie. This movie starts out hysterical and just gets funnier as it progresses. Sometimes pushing the limits. This film has no redeeming social value, except that it will make you laugh at the ridiculousness and help you forget about the nonsense we deal with on a daily basis. Hanover move over, this is going to be the next cult film.

I will not go into any specifics like a few reviewers. But this movie is NOT funny. And the controversial-off is ridiculous and bizarre. It totally killed a potentially decent movie. The obnoxious friend had potential to set up and do some great story telling, but went off into the wild west and went insane and lost it.
I did not see any "Comedy" in this film. A Romantic story gets beat up and trashed by idiotic story telling that makes no sense at all. I felt like I was watching a train wreck, I just couldn't stop, and was wondering would happen next in this masterful piece of s**t. I would not recommend this movie to a friend or anyone else.

I thought the movie was entertaining and enjoyably funny. I had the pleasure of watching it with several dozen people. I knew about half of the people, the others were strangers. The laughter in the room grew louder and louder as the movie progressed. When the movie ended, the topic of conversation was the hilarious scenes depicted in the movie. Having shared laughter and engaging conversation about the movie, strangers became friends.
The known actors did a great job of fulfilling their roles. And the unknown actors performed as if they were seasoned pros. The movie accomplished what a good movie should accomplish and that was to provide entertainment that consumed your thoughts.
While extremely funny, the movie also has a plot that takes the viewers through twists and turns which result in surprise events. As with any comical show, viewing it with a group of friends rather than alone, will enhance the enjoyment.

This guy ruins his entire life to chase some hot hot "Danica McKellar" ass (If you know Family Guy you'll get the reference). Surely he should have known more about his wife before he married her. He said himself he was marrying into the business. So stick with that plan. I had half expected him to tell the Japanese the plan, which he did, but to then go and turn the company around for them and live happily ever after with his chosen chick. It's not well written to miss that obvious and rewarding feel good plot direction. It needed that sort of ending to boost the overall film. There's a featured review which is all lies that convinced me to give this movie a go. I can't believe how much worse it is than that review. The problem is that the "jokes" if you could call them that, are few and far between. It messes itself up with trying to have deep and meaningful romantic comedy undertones. It should be a completely debauched frat house style romp through depravity and degradation, in the wake of him finding out about his wife. It just doesn't play out very convincingly on any front.
